  i've been out for 8 years, and for the first time in my life i am doubting.. not big doubts, but little ones.

  it's all the middle east and the "peace and security" talk.

  i feel like armageddon is coming.. the brainwashing never ends.

  The pope and hepatitis

  i was recently reminded of the jw line that "even the pope" once got contaminated blood.

  you know, what they say when they run out of scriptures and try to pretend that their stance is really about health and not about fear of dying armageddon (like they'd let their child die if they weren't jw's.

  so i decided to do something that no jehovah's witness ever does, which is actually double check some facts.

  They hired a JW at my job

  a new girl was hired at my job, and within 4 days it came out that she was a jehovah's witness.

  amazing how you could go years without knowing another coworker's religion, but we all had to know about this girl within 4 days.

  they had an assembly this weekend, and of course, we all knew exactly why she was taking the day off.

  Need some advice

  i knew this was coming.

  mom's been going back to the kingdom hall for about a year now, and i figured that, much like my father, i would have to cut off all contact with her at some point.

  it looks like now might be that time.
