by Separation of Powers ini can hardly believe that anything new is gonna be announced at the annual meeting.
i mean, there is absolutely no one i know in this organization capable of keeping a secret and we haven't heard anything but "big changes are coming" "just wait and see" "big things are in the works" and my personal favorite posted by one of our members who was told not to diassociate because "things are gonna be announced that will change your mind".. no one i know at the hall or in positions of responsibilty has ever been able to keep anything confidential.
it's always been like the character on in lving color, "i aint one to gossip...but you didn't hear that from me.".

Will JW.ORG actually harm the WT Society Long Term ?
by flipper inmy son and i were discussing this yesterday over coffee.
since the wt society in previous years virtually demonized going on the internet at all for jw's - now wt leaders are doing a complete turn around or about face probably so as to " compete " or keep up with all the anti-jw websites that are out there to give the wt society point of view.. however- it very well may backfire on them as once people start doing google searches looking for jw.org it will bring up all the other websites dealing with any jw issues and in the privacy of their own homes out of curiosity i'm sure lots of jw's are going to want to check out some of these sites to see what all the " apostate " hoopla is all about.
i wonder how many jw's will do this and will it have an effect in opening more minds to other views ?

More and more, bit by bit the friends seem to me to actually be in fear to say anything that doesn't sound to be the new 'theocratic'. Really like 1984. It's hard to have a decent conversation with anyone.

What I'm saying is that if the "sheep" succumb to all of this, is that when we try to bring up older issues of the WT to prove points they will then simply say, "Well, all that's old light, and now the Society doesn't even want us to refer back to that old stuff anyways."

I have thought of a way that the Slave may publish a WT in the near future to stop any efforts to
teach the Truth About The Truth (TTATT). Here it is:
A WT article comes out and says to use only JW.ORG for your research and that WT library CD won't be being produced
anymore. And maybe this is how they will pitch it:
The WT will say: "...and those devious motived persons will even use our own Watchtower library, "looking at the things behind" (Luke 9:62),
making use of old light. Beware of such individuals, who are not "forgetting the things behind and stretching forward to the things ahead" (Phil 3:13).
They are not pressing on toward the goal of the prize. Jehovah's chariot is on the move and we on the move with it;
while they sit idle in a block of time, stuck in misunderstandings that have been long corrected, in many
cases for decades! There is good reason why the JW.ORG online library only goes back to 2000. It's because our
light is bright! Yes, it now has 15 years of rich spiritual light contained in it. The truth has always been revealed
progressively.
Tuly brothers, of what benefit can be gained by arguing with another brother over a single point made a half century
ago in the Watchtower? So really, it would benefit us the most for us to start using JW.ORG exclusively for our research. This
way we will have the latest information for ourselves and our Bible students. For this reason, then, the Faithful and Discrete Slave
will no longer be producing the Watchtower Library on CD. All information will be online at JW.ORG."
