just got a phone call from an older sister saying that a couple that got re-assigned from bethel 4 years ago to live at their kh apartment as special pioneers, just received a letter saying "as of january 2016, your special pioneer assignment will be discontinued".. they live in a south miami kh(snapper creek congregation).. this couple had only served in bethel for 15 years before they were sent out into the special pioneer work.

they are now in their mid 50's and the sister said that they have to find part time jobs to support themselves.. the older sister (does not have a pc or internet), says that the couple are just devastated!

Need advice

hi.i've been pouring over this site for the past few days looking for some advice and i hope there is someone here that can help a guy out.

i'm desperate.....short bio: i came into the organization after high school and shortly after married a wonderful girl who was born-in.we have been happily married now for nearly 20 years and things were well until 2015 hit.

by the way, i currently serve as an elder and have the ""privilege"" of being the "watchtower overseer".. either here nor there, we were told we would never have children but late last year my wife became prego!!

In your situation i would have a quiet moment with your wife chilling somewhere nice.

Then just ask her what she feels about the organization directly.

LISTEN to her.

After you ponder her answer, then you will know how to proceed.

Confronting Parents About 607 vs 587

just thought i would update you guys since my 1st post last week.i haven't been to the meeting for about 2 weeks now, and maybe have like 1 or 2 hours of service combined within the past 2-3 months.

i obviously get the love bombing from relatives when they don't see you at the hall for a while.

there doing this right under my nose but i just found out.

not sure what to do but would like your help on getting me wt information on my headship role and how they shouldn't be doing this with out my permission.

also would like some help on showing my son the ramifications on what happens to someone when they get baptized and how they'll expect him to treat me.

Stand up and Be the Man of the house. It is easy to be meek, but you kids future is at stake, and nothing else is more important than that is it?.

Now you are at high odds of you soon being shunned by your own kids!. how CRAZY is that?..

Even if you were not living with your wife, worldwide courts have shown that they agree that until a child is of legal age they will support the petition to stop even attendance to the cults meetings.

I would take your boys and get them to join a worldly club, sports clubs are best, join too so you get to have an active role. and encourage your boys to join even several clubs. do it for them. encourage other worldly friendships. Break the cycle completely that YOU have put them into.

We all have to stand up and be counted sometimes?. Do it for your Children regardless of the consequences.

Once they make worldly friends the org naturally will dropped them.

Make a Stand as a Man for them to follow,

Letting a brother study with your kids is poor, it tells that other brother and elders that you are not the head of your house, they don't respect you mate.

Stand up for your kids and let them know that this is a cult, tell your wife and kids that you don't want them attending anymore. sit them all down together and tell them the facts.

Getting them involved with other groups before you do so will help them greatly to adjust.
