as the number of kingdom proclaimers increases and as we near the end of this system of things, there is an urgent need for more facilities.

about 4 months back, apostate lon posted a youtube video entitled watchtower society broadcasts pagan symbol.
i try not to believe in conspiracy theories but that symbol just doesn't belong there...hmm.
this is a question on old doctrine of jw's.
before they came up with the "great crowd" "revelation", where did they preached that the anointed ones will be?
because if they preached it will be in heaven, how did they understood that the prophecies about the earth will be fulfilled?
I thought their doctrine was more simple when they did not have the "other sheep" class. Apparently not. I wonder how they managed to attract so many people to a doctrine like that, with classes of people being saved.
I asked because I found a book in the online congress library, a book published in 1880's, that talkes about an earthly kingdom of God. And I thought, since this was an idea preached during those times, maybe they preaches something similar, too.
Here is a link to that old book. It is very readable.
tradition within christianity has long been that any time the phrases holy spirit, holy ghost, or spirit of godare used in the bible (especially in the new testament), it always refers to the mysterious third divine person of the trinity, who is fully god, co-equal to the father and son, yet somehow distinct.. i want to present a simplified alternative view: let the context determine the meaning!.
(one thing to keep in mind is that the meaning of the bible words used for spirit basically is unseen force or invisible presence.).
the holy spirit as the mind and personality of god.
God is Holy.
God is Spirit.
It is His nature.
for jw's the issue has never been who the faithful and wise servant (f&ds) was.
that is just misdirection and sleight of hand.
it is plain from the context that this was obviously a rhetorical question meant for self introspection.
Revelation is simbolic. The fact that them and the 24 old man, or that 144000 are in heaven, does not mean any of them will be in heaven. They will all be on earth. The king, Jesus will come back to earth, his asociates, will be on earth as immortal men. And they will rule over flesh and blood. The surprise for jw's will be that flesh and blood will continue to die in the 1000 kingdom Isaia 65:20 says people will live longer but grow old and die! People who never knew God will be reaurrected as flesh and blood and get a second chance and still die.
At the end of the 1000 years there is a second judgement. The last chance for flesh and blood to become imortals. After that there will be no chance and there will be only immortals. They will get a new earth.
The purpose of God is to make a new race of man, indestructible, imperishable and eternal. A man with whom He can have comunion and a close relationship.
The purpose of life is to have that kind of relationship with God, not to have a vain yard and a tree and a house. Those are conditions of flesh and blood humans in the millenial kingdom, but not the purpose of life!

But it does not make sense. They preached a heavenly hope for all chriatians. So, the same thing as the catholic church
And the faithful oness on old time to live on earth as princess. Proncess lover who?
And 144000 people to rule over a few faithful on earth?

people tell me all sorts of different opinions.
i seem to feel a constant feeling of dread and anxiety.
the possibility of god existing scares me but so does the possibility of him not.
From what I read, I see some people feel this way because maybe there is this thought:
"If God is not with the jw's, is He at all?"
I want to tell you that jw's are not special at all as a religion / cult. They have, just like any other religion / cult true doctrines mixed with false ones, they have Gnostic ideas, pagan origins for some, they used and still use pagan symbols.
So please do not think that if god is not in the jw org, He is not at all.
God has nothing to do with big religious organizations. God deals with people not with organizations!
God gave us the Bible and Jesus said the helper, Holy spirit, will be with us until He comes back. Jesus is our mediator and we have direct access to God, we need no organization. We have everything we need to get close to God, wherever we are, whoever we are.
Weekly going to a "church" or "preaching" does not get you closer to God. You can only get close to him when you are alone with Him.

He loves you. What God wants is that Him and people would be close again.
However, I noticed smth, I think our relationship with out father, physical father, the immage we have our our father, influences the way we see God....
But God is not like our parents, and not like the wt pictures Him!!!
The watchtower created an image of god who is always demanding, like you can never satisfy Him, like no matter what you do, you do not do enough .... God is not like that!!!
why such a difference between jew and gentiles, so that the jew is at once.
recognized, no matter what race he lives among.. and how did the jews come to have such strange traditions setting apart, racially.
and religiously from gentiles???.
It was important to have a pure adn for the appearance of Messiah, and the law covenant was a mirror of the new covenant.
Through Jesus there is no difference.
