I ran out yesterday and had to use Fairy liquid instead as I had to wash the cat's bed....the machine kept groaning and lurching and leaked all over the kitchen floor and then I had to try and lather up some soap into the dispenser drawer to de-froth the washing up liquid froth- that was fun...

Hi ignored...yes; I'm totally sick of hearing this crap.
Excuse me, but is'nt this what other people do everyday when they go to work or start community projects? and guess what- there usually ar'nt any arguments or an inability to cooperate-they seem to think they're the only group capable of peaceful organisation.
What do they think the rest of us behave like when we need to get a job done?
I planned and designed a garden for the school;worked free of charge , with the help of a few volunteers and guess what? we all got along wonderfully- we had meals cooked and brought to us and hot drinks made, people donated the money for the benches and plants and hard landscaping...
and we did'nt have to give money to the school first...then borrow our own money back from the school and pay it back to them, with interest, and work without insurance either...
It's so insulting-and they're certainly not modest...

i do have 3 dogs, 2 huskies and 1 malamute and my sister in law thought that a fourth - a new foundlander named goofy - could go easy with those three while she did go for holidays.

she - the dog - is very sweet, but is like a solid rock when you want to move her a bit aside.

so, when she is in my way, i normally step over her and she always don't move a bit.

((( country woman ))) poor you...those big dogs can be so stupid and clumsy (though New Foundlands are one of my favourites- big teddy bears)....cats are dangerous too; I nearly fall over my cat everyday as he's always under my feet begging to be picked up....

Giving up smoking..(again)

its one of the hardest things i have attempted to do......besides the patch (which i am starting) and antipressants is there any thing you have tryed or heard of?

i do want to give this habit up so much for myself and my family......anything would help.

You said you would and you're actually doing it! i'm impressed!
I gave up around 4 years ago now- and hav'nt touched one since.
I still get desperate some times though, especially if i'm out and have had a few drinks. which is the time you simply have to decide to stay stopped or give in...
I took up obsessive exercise (so was still fulfilling my naturally addictive all or nothing personality )
and it's difficult to run if you smoke; you can't cheat 'cos if you start again as you feel like you're going to die. .....for me, the desire to breathe is stronger!
So I guess i'd say find something to replace the cigs with that makes them less attractive.
aaaaggghhhh; now i'm thinking about smoking.......DAMN

to those who have written to my posts about the adoption that my family is going through, i heard from my lawyer today and though it was only a phone message, my ex is going to consent to the adoption!!.

nice to share something good for a change!!!.
