Well, this is a thread about realising your dreams, and I think living each day to the fullest is a great start (((((Biscous))))) and the best way to say f**k them....

galaxy.....my last horse was a nightmare...don't tempt me....i've always wanted to bring one on myself...I get so fed up with trying to re-train.......the best horses ive ridden lately were at a western stables near me-they seem to be better schooled than the ones in the English system.........

I dreamed of having more time to paint..travelling around the world on horseback and living a simpler life and being able to throw off the constraints of materialism....
i'm trying to still fulfill them because i'm trying not to loose touch with what I really want.......i'm painting seriously as much as I can and the travelling is planned for when my last child leaves home in a few years...then i'll sell the house, stop the businesses and sell everything to go......
i'd love to hear about you........

just a fyi, i wiped out on my bike yesterday.
i broke my hand and cut my hip open on some barbed wire.
((((((Get so worried when I see threads with titles like these)))))))))) poor you I fell off three times, once in a hedge, once on ice and another time straight over a low wall into someones front garden.....yours sounded less embarassing .....So glad it's not too bad, though it still shakes you up so don't forget to look after yourself..... hope you don't hurt to much

I can feel my nightmares returning.......when I was little, about 18 months old..... my family lived abroad for a few years... we'd just arrived in a very hot country and for the first two weeks each time my mother turned out the light after having put me in my cot apparently I would cry continuously....she'd come in and out through out the night and each time could'nt see anything wrong......assuming it was the heat she told me she eventually got firm with me...and raised her voice....but felt dreadful when.eventually she saw what the problem was.....there were cockroaches in the mattress that crawled over me , they only emerged in the dark...she saw one in my mouth.................my mothrt threw out all of the furniture and bought an entirely new interior the next day.............

i was recently reminded of john cleese's [in]famous eulogy of graham chapman.. personally i think it was perhaps the funniest, albeit most shocking, thing that he's ever done.. i offer it for your perusal:.

I love setters, they're such kind hearted dogs, my grandmother would really look forward to the therapy dogs that went to her nursing home...what a lovely idea.....I nearly bought a puppy the other day-i'm really desperate for one atm-I was looking at pointers but my first choice would be a setter-I had one a long time ago who was wonderful,and very easy to train.. I was also considering a beagle-their coat is so soft and they're so sweet natured;

I think it was Rutherford that gave an interesting illustration about light in an early Watchtower.
He compared the society's revealing of new light to lamps that were lit progressively-stating that the progressive nature of them as the spiritual light grew brighter was 'proof' that they had 'the truth' He explained that if therse lights were extinguished and then re lit(eg if truths previously revealed were then changed by the society) then that would prove that this was'nt the truth! That must have been written before any changes to policy were subject to the flip flopping that's now so common...I remember showing that quote to an elder as I was explaining my reasons for doubt...it was a good one to throw at them...
well, its not so much a new tattoo but having an old one expanded to cover more of my shoulder.
i got most of it done yesterday, but we ran out of time and so i had to go back this afternoon to get it finished off.
and having a tattoo over the top of where it was only tattoo'd the previous day hurts so much!
Yum yum, Gadget, that's one delicious tat youve got there........shall I get mine done now...?!
