i have decided to go back to basics and just read the bible alone, trying to eliminate wt influence from my mind as i read.

it's amazing what you see in the scriptures when you just look at the scriptures.. can anyone shed some light on the following - in particular verse 13:.

Hebrews 1:6 & The Kingdom Interlinear

i have the 1985 edition of the kingdom interlinear translation of the greek scriptures.. .

at the top of page 949 i noticed something that is puzzling, to say the least.. .

on the left side of the page is the greek text with the english transliteration directly under it.. .

The KIT of 1969 has "worship" whereas the 1985 version has "obeisance". Is there a difference between the 2 words?

What the Bible says respecting "uncleanness, sexual appetite, hurtful desire" applies to all Christians, single and married. It is true that husband and wife have a Scriptural and legal right to engage in sexual relations with each other, and to enjoy doing so. But does this mean that they can throw off all restraint? The fact that God’s Word urges all Christians to cultivate self-control argues against such a view. (2 Peter 1:5-8) The inspired Bible writer did not have to explain to married persons the natural way in which the reproductive organs of husband and wife complement each other. Homosexual relations obviously cannot follow this natural way. So, male and female homosexuals employ other forms of intercourse in what the apostle refers to as the satisfying of "disgraceful sexual appetites" and "obscene" practices. (Romans 1:24-32) Is it reasonable that married couples could imitate such homosexual forms of intercourse in their own marriage relations and still be free in God’s eyes from expressing "disgraceful sexual appetites" or "hurtful desire"? Just when you think you are getting better...

i have been thinking that i am over it - i am ok - i am not angry anymore, but after a conversation with one of my best friends today, well i am not sure.... my husband comes from an anglican/catholic background.

we, however, as a couple are not religious at all and have never tried to take our kids to church or sunday school etc.

i sometimes feel that we should be giving them some attempt at a christian education, but i cannot bring myself to go to a church.

Bible Student Monthly Volume 7 No. 7 pdf

here is a issue of the bible student monthly.

this a large 4 page tract, this is no.7 of volume 7.".

the bsm tract publication started in 1913 so this one should be from 1919, the tracts mentioned in the ads seem to comfirm that.. i have the pages split in 2 with a small overlap, because i did not get them stitched.

Another job well done!! I have that tract as well. Just some information ,It dates around 1915 not 1919. The first BSM were published in 1909 and not 1913.

Let me know if anyone else has offered, so we don't produce double work. I concur with jaydee, I could use a high power scanner,(lol) otherwise bare with me for the time it'll take to mass scan!! i've been reading raymond franz's book "crisis of conscience", and i noticed that his quotations from the august 1980 oks differ from what's on the watchtower library cd (big suprise, i know).

i only seem to have december from that year.

i wonder whether anyone might have august 1980 and be willing to scan it.
