  I collect and make Chess sets. We used to play at some get-togethers. Our group was told it was a conscience matter, and we verbally agreed on the spot that our consciences would allow us to play.

  I watched Hercules with my nephews, liked it. The ending made me cry. Am I sappy or what?

  As for the WTS making mistakes, I think they ARE a mistake. If we learn from our mistakes then the time was not all wasted.

  For some reason this reminds me of Robin Williams when he was in court divorcing his first wife. She had just accused him of giving her Genital Herpes.

  He said, "I didn't give them to her, She stole them from me." He was charged with contempt.

  The WTS wasn't given anything. They took it upon themselves.

  as you all know.....i'm a dumb bastard, but i need to know this.. i remember our beloved wise ass farkle started this saying, and from day one i have never understood it.

  now "dave the bastard" says it all the time.

  does that tie in with their "paradise earth" doctrine somehow?.

  Hello Robert.

  The concept of the Rapture as taught in other Christian churches is alien to the WTS. They do not believe in it.

  There is a scripture that mentions having a spiritual body sown in incoruption in the tinkling of an eye...blah blah. They use that scripture to refer to the Anointed 144,000.

  Well that's my sloppy answer to your question. If anybody else knows, please step up.

  but then they'll come across something unusual.. right now i'm listening to "kenny rogers - ten years of gold".

  what happens to them when they leave the society?

  Hi Puternut.

  What part of Washington are you in? There are a good number of us in the Seattle area. I am curently in Moses Lake getting ready to move back to the north end. So far, I have done a fade, but because I still have regular contact with friends who also faded, that could change.
