not those killed by old age or illness or the acts of genocide that aren't given a death toll figure (like the flood), i wondered what the body count was for those acts of genocie that do have a documented death toll, or kill figure (god sent an angel to kill 100,000 etc).. anyone any ideas?.

That would be an interesting task, to go throught the bable and dump the figures into a spreadsheet or something. It could be done by a book-to-book method, and grand totaled. If this were to be a serious endeavor, different individuals could take separate sections to do.

...it would seem the first series of events happened. That doesn't make much sense.
In the grander scheme of things, it doesn't really matter.
As for how he should be charged: He commited a violent act upon her person that resulted in her death. He chose to stop taking his meds. Even in the midst of mania, HE chose to attack her. Only HE is responsible for his actions and emotions.

When I was a jr in HS, I saw the Holy Grail at a friend's house. I didn't like it or understand it at that time. I was still very BorG. But this was a "worldly" friend.
He introduced me to British humor. Benny Hill. Black Adder. and a few others. Black Adder II & III are my favorites now.
It didn't take me long to aquire the taste for English humor, or to learn to understand most of it-at least to understand it the best an American can.
I rented the Life of Brian a few monthes ago. My favorite scene in that one is the guy getting stoned for using the LORD's name in vain.

I think you summed that up pretty well.
They don't see that their political beliefs have become like a religion, or in their case, a religious assesory. "Have you found Jesus? Bush is leading us (U.S.?)blah blah."
Yeah, these people are stupid. I live in the Bible Belt of Washington state, lots of baptists and LDS and othr miscelanious Jesus freaks.

i'm currently going back to school to study biology and biomimicry.
i'm hoping to work to develop green technologies - better energy sources, better product packaging, better waste disposal, and so on.
i'm concerned for the earth, and i sometimes wish that everyone would suddenly start consuming less or more responsibly, but i realize that it simply will not happen overnight.

There is a book titled The Hidden Connections by Fritjof Capra(spelling???)
He talks about this concept of environmental and economical sustainability. He tends to get a little deep in biological theory, so just skip to the economical if you get a headache. Interesting read.

we had one cow in alberta that had bse, and the us along with many other countries banned all canadian beef.
The cow was actually slaughtered a few miles from where I live-Moses Lake, WA.
The cow was sent to slaughter because it was sick.
The deer hunters amongst us should be familiar with Cronic Wasteing Disease-CWD. That is the designation of a similiar disease in deer and elk. Also caused by a prion or misshapen protein/enzyme. IT is found in the brain,nerve, and marrow of infected animals.
There is so much more going on here.
