  Looking back as the householder -- How well did you do?

  yesterday i was thinking back to when i used to go in service.

  i was never a shining example for the ministry.

  in fact, i was never used on the tms for any field service "how to" parts!

  It is Monday....

  and i am in my office by myself.

  the person that we hired just faxed over a letter letting us know that she will no longer be working for us (and can we please mail her her paycheck?).

  it is a slow day, and i have nothing to do and none to talk to.

  I could go to the H**** book study group but the make you take of your shoes ( I hate walking with out shoes),

  They make you take off your shoes? What's up with that?

  My Monday was one of the worst I've had in quite some time.... Hope yours wasn't too bad.

  Where are you on the map? New Maps

  ok there are so many americans on the map now i had to split you all in half.. valis was kind enough to let me place the maps on his website until i found a new home for them.. photobucket seems to be a good option - at least for now.

  so i have uploaded the new maps which have been updated to include everyone who has asked.. so if you were wondering where we are from.

  or how close you are to other jwd posters in your area just take a look.

  JWS and Body Piercings!

  this may sound strange, but do jws have any specific teachings on body piercings?

  i know that mormons do... they only allow females to have one piercing in each ear and then they must wear "tasteful, modest earrings"... in other words, i don't think they're wearing big hoops or dangling chandalier earrings... but what do jws think about piercings?

  my boyfriend's sister got her eyebrow pierced... and her "jw" parents encouraged it.

  I remember the elders in our backwater congregation were very vocal about sisters not having more than one piercing per ear. That all changed when a group of us took a tour to Bethel and one of the sisters we met there had two in each ear! The POs wife kept commenting on it. I told my buddy that all the sisters in our cong. would have second piercings with in a few month's time. I was right.

  Since leaving, I have gotten two piercings in one ear and a tattoo myself. I rarely wear earrings anymore, but I definately want another tattoo.

  whatever i drink from the fridge, i put it into the microwave for 10 seconds so that it won't be too cold to drink.. .

  whenever i drink ice cold liquids, it irritates my tongue/mouth and often triggers a sore throat.

  now you have additional proof that i'm weird .

  Tattoo you?

  ok, i've been watching the show "inked" on a&e and i think it's a really cool show about tattoo artists in las vegas.

  and lately i've been thinking about getting a tattoo somewhere on my body, possiblely my lower back.

  my sister has one there and i think it's really cool.

  Mrs. Jones, I like it too. (I'm also a Gemini.) I might want to use that for a future tattoo. I think that my next tattoo is going to be my partner's name in Chinese on my arm.

  Currently, I only have one tattoo. It's of a shamrock in the shape of a Celtic knot above my left ankle. I wanted something that showed my Irish heritage and that's what I settled on.
