just wondering what experiences you good folks have had with the the famous (or infamous)?
In 1990, my senior year of high school, my parents and I were invited to the governor's mansion for a reception honoring that year's "Governor's Scholars." So we all went up to meet Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton. He came across as a very nice, very likeable man. That day I also got to meet Miss America 1990 Debbye Turner. She was Miss Missouri, but originally from Arkansas.
In 1997 I worked for a Texas-based entertainment retailer. My job was to coordinate book signings/CD signings/video events, etc. I was fortunate enough to coordinate an event for President Jimmy Carter at a store outside of Dallas. That event went over so well, that his publisher gave us the opportunity to host another event at our store outside of Knoxville a couple of years later.
That job let me meet a lot of famous people, but the most memorable was Dolly Parton. She's the only 'famous' person I've ever made a total fool out of myself in front of. She winked at me and I lost it.

just moments ago i was on the back deck looking at the stars and a renter next door came out to do the same.
i said hello and we talked about where we were from and where we are at, spiritually.
after a few clues the neighbor asked if i had accepted jesus as my personal savior.
Dave Berry is right. He's said in past columns, "People that want to share their religious beliefs with you, almost never want you to share your beliefs with them."
Baptists, JWs, Pentecostals, LDS... not much different in that respect, are they?

i loved it !!!
it was just as good, if not better than the orginal.
lmao .
Awesome movie! Just as good as the first, and in some ways, even better. The technology for the animation has gotten to the level that in certain parts, it was hard for me to believe that it was computer animated.
I'd definately recommend it. Oh, and don't leave when the credits start. There's a small clip in the middle of them. It's definately worth sitting there for a minute longer.

Country Girl
Of course, was there any doubt! I will never use CG again to refer to myself.
Hope all is going well for you CG. Give me a call soon!

This is one of my all time favorite songs. It's been done by soooo many people at one time or another, but my favorite version is Nat King Cole's.
When I Fall In Love
When I fall in love
It will be forever
Or I'll never fall in love
In a restless world
Like this is
Love is ended before it's begun
And too many
Moonlight kisses
Seem to cool in the warmth of the sun
When I give my heart
I give it completely
Or I'll never give my heart
And the moment I can feel that you feel that way too
Is when I fall in love with you

now, i will begin this topic by saying i'm new.
i am bisexual, and i found this website by typing in : gay latinos pictures.
Although i know my parents would throw me out, cause ive heard it before, and ive heard the way the talk about 2 of my "open" family members. but yea, what i mean is im scared of the future. How do you know this ones it. How? what if it was evolution? well i dont know. im jsut very worried.
You know, To Be, sometimes I am too. The future is a scary place when you aren't sure of your place in it. But, the best thing about the future is it hasn't happened yet. nothing is for certain and you have the ability to make your own place in it. I'll stop there before I start quoting The Carpenters.
The best advice I can give you is to talk to people about your fears and worries. Use this board. Use other boards. Use a counselor at school. Use a teen crisis line. If you are near a gay and lesbian center, contact them. There are tons of people who genuinely want to help. Again, if I can help, please let me know.

first gay couples wed in us state
two lesbians were among the first same-sex couples to wed under a new law in the us state of massachusetts.
Being a proponent of Traditional Christianity, I wonder what path, as a Nation, we are really going down...
You know TC, I gotta think that in a world that is filled with so much hate and violence that any expression of love would be refreshing to Christians. After all, isn't that the underlying theme of the Bible?

Ahh, what a great thing it is!
