but we (the elders) are imperfect, and so cannot know everything about judicial matters.
that is why we (the elders) have the biblical rule that there must be at least two witnesses to wrongdoing.

Yes...they are imperfect. So why are the judging others? Why don't they "leave it in Jehovahs hands?"
When the congregation members are "imperfect" they "keep the congregation clean" by DF'ing or marking these ones. So when the Elders are imperfect, should not we keep the congregation clean and remove them as well. It's funny how it only goes one way. Kind of like the $, it only flows one way. It's hard to believe others can't see this.

I 100% agree. We have witnessed this for years. JW's who are quick to judge BUT when it happens to them that's another story.
We had a friend who was removed as an Elder. Oh my God, you would have thought the world had ended. He was then given his Elder title back. Shortly thereafter, he made the comment, "people who are DF'd feel they have been done wrong." I guess he forgot about how he felt just a few short years before.
Hypocrisy at its highest level. It's always different when the shoe is on the foot.

Bingo...these guys sit their fat asses up there in NY (all expenses paid) and watch as the poor rank and file goes to prison. I hope I get to see these 7 criminals put in jail one day for all the damage they have inflicted on poor innocent families.
over many years i have been pondering how mental illness has impacted upon jw's due to the effects of indoctrination.
in my case; when i was 21 i had a breakdown and was hospitalised for 6 weeks.
i was diagnosed with anxiety tension state disorder.
Almost all of our JW family is on some form of meds for depression and anxiety. Some wash it down will alcohol. Sad. We see a pattern.
i read a fantastic quote that applies to the way the society treats those who choose to leave...:.

This is exactly what is happening to my spouse and I right now by a wonderful family member.
last week we had a reassurance ultrasound with our ob.
she was just supposed to check heartbeats on the two little ones and they were going strong!
but because she had extra time and she can be quite anal about her work (which is a good thing) she decided to take some measurements.
Oh no Darkknight, we are SO sorry. You both have been through so much! We are thinking of you both. Hugs to you and your wife.

I think they are really going to need all 5 days to cover what they need. The game is changing and people are "brazen". WT need to let the boys know how to handle these "brazen ones."

this is part of the clam meeting this week.. how contradictory is it?.
first, they instruct people to avoid inactive ones and to shun them and to treat them the same as da'd or df'd ones, .

Various reasons? I find this funny! The various reason is the hypocrisy, abuse and cruelty to it's members. There's your various reasons, not mentioned in the WT brochure. There are other "various reasons" but the list is too long.
today i went to a large talk.. there was no arguing or swearing, just kindness and respect.. it was orderly and calm.. trash was put in the proper place.
people were even picking up litter that wasn't even theirs.. the speakers were passionate and inspiring.. the entire event was orchestrated by volunteers.. it was march for science, not a dub ass-embly.
so much for "only jehoopla's people" behaving like this at large events..

Rebel. I experienced a similar thing. Last week I took my daughter and school friends to a "rock" concert. This was held in the same arena we used to go for our dub convention. Over 14,000 people of all ages, everyone was happy and having a great time. No pushing or shoving, everyone waited patiently to go get thru the lines for entry. Now at one dub assembly I was an attendant, when the doors opened in the morning? I watched in amazement as JWs pushed and started to run to get the best seats. Yes, you are correct...only Jehovah's people.🤔
