it appears that a new 16-page brochure, with the title "return to jehovah" is to be released at the regional convention (dc) this year.

it would be written specifically for those faded or da/df.chapters are:a letter from the governing body1.

the lost one i will search for2.

Nature of the Word "Spiritual" Amongst Witnesses

even as an atheist i consider myself spiritual, always have, metaphysics and spiritual discussions about enlightenment and so on i find interesting, even if belief in a yhwh is not in me.

i want to propose this simple definition of the word "spiritual" among jehovah's witnesses.. spiritual = indoctrination or indoctrinated.

i have been told how i'm "just not a spiritual man".

Spiritual ='s Field Serve Us (# of hours you get), pioneering, reaching out to become a MS or Elder, Baptism (the earlier the better), assemblies, attending Bethel, being a part of the RBC (or whatever they call it today). A showy display. It doesn't matter what is in your heart as long as your actions can be observed by others. It's one big competition! We left the competition. They can all just WOW one another now!

I know...it is hard to believe how much effort these people will put to "help" (there definition of help) strangers but not their own family. It is incredible and sad.

Welcome to this site. It is a great place to vent. We all understand how you feel. I used to think it was me until I started reading other posts. It's not you. By reading other posts you will come to find out what this "loving organization" does to innocent people.

You are not alone, we are all here for you.

" sitting in my office, he saw it and being the voracious reader he is, he asked me "why did the magazine say all those people would never die?

" i told him "humans make mistakes, they were wrong by claiming that.

'I vividly remember a circuit assembly where the speaker was talking about "false" claims against the society and how the elders would go to jail before disclosing any confidential matter to the authorities, and the whole audience erupted into applause."

The Elders go to jail? They would last about 2 seconds in there and start crapping themselves and probably stand to salute the flag just to get out. They don't have the b**ls to go to jail.

memorial campaing experience

so a friend from work had a get togather to watch ncaa basketball this pass weekend and i went on saturday morning as we wer watching the game some one rings the doorbell and my friend gos to the door he is there maybe a minute or so, he walks back into the room and screams outloud !!!

"yes i got invited" and starts laughing as other see what he was talking about .

someone sais " i hate those door knockers".

We were in a public park the other day. We were enjoying the sunny, beautiful day and my husband went to use the restroom. He came out of the restroom with an invitation. We saw a car load of JW's on a beautiful sunny weekend driving around aimlessly, looking for a place to unload one of their invitations. We had a outsider looking in kind of experience. We must have looked foolish too, when we participated in Field Serve Us. Yikes!!!

Deplorable Website Promotion

my siblings mother in law died recently, and there was a condolence posted with the borg website.

i googled the name of the poster, and found the same condolence on 100s of funeral home websites!!!

many of these sites dont have mods or a way to report a website promotion.

A Brother told us once that he did this same thing. He was a full time pioneer. This is how the pioneers can count their time. It is despicable. They don't care about the people just the time. Crazies!!!

"Millions Will Attend -Will You?" Mea Culpa!

dubs are working the housing estate where i live.

i was outside my house, applying some tlc to my old jag (worshiping worldly things?)..

one old guy, half a dozen middle-aged and upwards ladies.

Most of them are so busy with the invitation work they can't take care of anything else.... like their families, their finances, their homes, their jobs (if they have one). Keep em on the hamster wheel so they can't think about what a joke this all is. There is always busy work. Quick builds, preparing talks, Field Serve Us, Need Greating, making trinkets for the International conventions, assemblies...yadda yadda. The list goes on and on!!!
