I need to stop watching these videos it just makes me angry. That poor little girl sitting alone on the bus all sad. That was me in grade school because of this horrid religion. And now no family because they are all still brainwashed in that cult and they shun me. UGH!

GB says, "Our way of worship will soon be altered."
by Separation of Powers inmy mom called me yesterday to ask how i was doing.
i hadn't seen her in a while, so it was nice to hear her voice.
we went through the motions of jw small talk and then she started telling me about her co visit from last week.

To me it seems like the major changes in worship would be to have more and more live and/or taped broadcasts streamed from Bethel. They want total control of what is said at meetings and this would be a great way to do that. It will start slowly, perhaps one talk every week will be replaced by a Bethel speaker, and then I'm sure eventually the entire meeting will be broadcast from Bethel to all congregations. Elders, ministerial servants, and everyone else will no longer be able to give talks, it will ALL come as a feed from headquarters. Everyone will eat it up as showing how united they all are when the fact of the situation is now the GB would have total control of all information given at meetings.

HAHA I love that it keeps getting put back up by people. I used to work at Bethel 20 years ago, this type of thing would have gotten people kicked out. Now I'm 40 and it's so sad to see all these young people brainwashed just like I was. But no doubt many of them will also find freedom like I have. Oh well, I'm sure if this was allowed 20 years ago you would have seen me in that video acting like a self righteous idiot too. LOL! -

I've been thankfully free of this religion for 15 years now, and I know this is said over and over again, but it's true, I totally don't recognize this religion anymore. It now looks like any other church would have looked to me 15 years ago. -

My Grandmother who was born in 1920 was a JW, my parents were JW's and I of course was also born into it. That religion totally has destroyed my family and that of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Please research them fully and read the stories of others; the smiling faces you see at the study and the fluff they teach you is NOT the full reality of what your life will become should you join them. -

No. HELL NO! My parents were emotionally and physically abusive to me growing up, who later shunned me when I made my escape from that doomsday death cult. They wrote me letters disowning me. That was about 12 years ago. They could already be dead for all I know.

is it just used in america?.

I grew up as a gay JW and let me tell you it is a hellish nightmare! I stayed closeted until I was an adult as I knew I would lose my family should they find out prior, and I knew I couldn't handle it as a teen. The grand majority of all gay people realize they are gay at 12-14 years of age, just when a heterosexual figures it out. It is absolutely NOT a choice and NOTHING is going to change your sexuality. I tried for YEARS and it only caused horrible emotional damage. I can't even begin to explain the guilt that I had thinking that God hated me for something I couldn't help. As an adult I came out and sure enough my family rejected me, but at least I was able to care for myself and had friends outside of the religion first. I recently watched the Tony Tight Pants video of him mocking gays and how they want men to wear tight pants, so gross of him. As almost impossible as it sounds it seems as if they are much worse in hating gay people now then when I was younger. I am fully disgusted with this cult! My heart aches for all the poor young gay kids who will go through this same hell if not worse...

Wow and I thought MY family was the only one! LOL! Yeah all the time growing up on Thanksgiving day we had turkey with all the trimmings - It was OK because my crazed JW mother said it was cheaper and we weren't really celebrating it. HAHA!
