Ah, the proliferation of the internet.
God bless the DoD and their ingenious outlook. Asides from that, I have to read the fine print.

I've never donated much and now my thinking is I'll take some if I can.
so i took up volunterring for habitat for humanity in one of their restores about a year and a half/two years ago.
now as far as i've known growing up in the religion, this is a faith-based organization that jehovah's witnesses are not to support.
so i am wirded ou in some ways of what has happened during this time.. my first event was a previous elder from a congregation 3 hours away from where i live now, coming into the store.
I know of many if not all local witnesses in my area that shop at Salvation Army, Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity, even thrift stores clearly labeled Christian.
This includes ALL witnesses even appointment men.

...totally a mess from the fact that his father had a baby with his sister all hidden in the JWs.
This is sickening and beyond criminal.
...even though I was of the belief they should not be shopping in the store.
See this is where I don't agree with you. Imagine if we based our shopping habits based on stores with a religious background or where they openly profess their beliefs?

The WTBS will claim tax exempt status due to them being a religious non-profit entity and a charity. They claim to help with disaster relief which in fact they do except that you either need to live next to a good standing member or near them in order for them to help you during a disaster. If you live on the next street or down the street then you'll be SOL.
court bars kids from jehovah's witness activities.

This court ruling is very important. This something the GB counts on with parents in the U.S. They are now clamping down on teachings towards youths making them feel important by feeding them crap like the Caleb video.
Does anyone know if this has ever happened in the U.S.?
at the moment i can't get these books, they are not available as ebooks and i can't risk having them in the house.
but i have heard so much about them and how helpful they are that i am just wondering if any who have read them can give some insights they have gained from them that would be useful to know.
thanks in advance.
i have been looking and finally saw the logo on the kh sign............. .

They just put it up on ours. Looks very similar to yours Blondie. I guess crap all looks the same.
Talk about idolatry. It just continues to get worse.
i was just doing a little research in this where it says "do not be judging.
" in matthew.. it looks like the connotation here is not judging if someone is doing right or wrong but judging the person themselves in a certain way.. such as reviewing all their actions and nitpicking them down.
reducing people down to what they do and then pronouncing a judgement upon them.. over and over again.. .
The Judicial Committee is not found in the N.T to my knowledge ??
Yeah, I don't believe it's scriptural. I'll be researching to confirm but I'm pretty certain it's not.
the governing body is preparing to take a major hit.
this recent watchtower shows it.
not the new understandings, but the article on marriage.
I agree that they will survive unless the government starts investigating their pattern of child abuse, their tax exempt status, and their violation of UN human rights.
Noting the aforemention points, they are coming down hard on the younger generation trying to indoctrinate them as early as possible. The younger the mind, the easier it is to mold. The hell with what the Bible says, just as long as they are able to be indoctrinated (mind controlled), baptized (enslaved), good member (trapped).
They love to have entire families join so the bond is that much tighter and by the time they try to leave, too much to lose.
....using a pseudonym never actually meeting them perhaps by internet, phone, letter, or email?.
i feel like doing this and asking direct questions but nothing that would arouse suspicion.
the newest jw video advocates this option.. this would be a good experiment in an effort to get into the thinking mind of how different witnesses approach a study and if i'm lucky i may get either an elder or ms.. thoughts?.
Blondie, on a personal note, thank you for taking the time to research and posting vital information that without a doubt, helps people start thinking critically and objectively.
