during some recent research on youtube i came across a few videos explaining how watchtower manipulated revelation 5:10. revelation 5:10 "you have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our god,and they will reign on the earth.”" -niv.
the nwt13 renders this verse: 10 and you made them to be a kingdom+ and priests to our god,+ and they are to rule as kings+ over the earth.”.

Is there any talk of changing the 144k to symbolic? Hope so.
That's one of the things the wife says would never happen. After much questioning she admitted this would be cause for reconsideration of her faith in the organization.
But, if it did change, I'm certain she would rationalize it and be even more convinced the chariot is on the move.
Something like "It makes so much more sense now. I always believed in my heart that it was symbolic!"

Does your husband moonlight by chance? I see a side business opportunity for him.
I'd hire him to go to my family's house and do the same for my situation. I'd stand behind him and say "yeah!" every few minutes and then run out of the house before he was finished.
Great job. I need to have that discussion with my parents soon... My daughter is almost old enough for them to play Sophia videos.

Welcome to the forum. You probably are not going to get a lot of encouragement here towards going back to the organization.
Have you researched the witnesses? They protect child molesters and ruin families. They take scriptures and turn them upside down and on their side. They put a few old men on a pedestal and imply that everything they say is inspired by God. I could go on all day long and I'm not sure I would finish.
Do some research. Ask critical questions. Search this forum. Look up 1975, blood doctrine, child molesters & jehovah's witnesses. New generation understanding. United Nations and Jehovah's Witnesses.
YouTube has some great videos and experiences. One of my favorites is exjwcriticalthinking ( or something like that). Watch a few of those videos and then decide if you really want back into the organization.
Being df'd may be the best thing that could happen to you.

Thanks for sharing! You did a wonderful job expressing your emotions and it's so true. It's also quite disgusting and I'm so sorry this is your reality.
My wife just told me yesterday she would do the same to our daughter. Here is our beautiful little baby girl running around playing and her mom can sit there and say she would shun her later in life if it was "necessary". What a disgusting and vile cult.

by dorian hargrove, june 24, 2016. a san diego superior court judge has ordered the church of jehovah's witnesses, also known as the watchtower bible and tract society of pennsylvania, to pay $4000 a day for every day that it fails to produce documents requested in a civil lawsuit brought by former parishioner, osbaldo padron, who claims a church elder sexually abused him when he was seven years old.. in a june 23 ruling, expected to be made final today, judge richard strauss admonished the church for willfully ignoring a court order to produce all documents associated with a 1997 body of elders letter that church leaders sent to parishes around the world in a quest to learn about sexual abuse of children by church leaders.. over the course of the past year, the watchtower society and its lawyers have fought hard to keep the letter confidential, claiming that turning over the documents would infringe on the privacy of those mentioned in the letter that were not associated with the case.. in march 2015, the church turned over a heavily redacted version of the letter.

Showed the wife this on her way out the door to the convention assembly regional cult fest this morning. Asked why does she think they are withholding the documents Ceasar is demanding. She said it makes since if they are appealing. Then asked why they would appeal and not just give him the documents to prevent any reproach on God's organization if there was nothing to hide.
The dog barked next door and she drove away.
