  The sun revolves around the earth!

  yes the sun revolves around the earth....it moves from east to west.. this is why galileo a 15th century noted inventor, astronomer and mathmetical genius was excumminicated by the catholic church.

  the scriptures state that joshua commanded the sun to stand still!

  if the sun doesn't revolve around the earth then this command would be really stupid!.

  This is why Galileo a 15th century noted inventor, astronomer and mathmetical genius was excumminicated by the catholic church. The scriptures state that Joshua commanded the sun to STAND STILL! If the sun doesn't revolve around the earth then this command would be really stupid!

  Ahhh but what if the bible was written from the standpoint of the scientific knowledge the observer would have at that time? At that time scientific knowledge had not progressed to the telescopic point. Everyone in general believed the sun revolved around the earth. If Joshua would have commanded the earth to stand still then his aids would have probably totted him off to the ole deranged camel bin. It simply would not have made sense at that time.

  Einstein's theory of relativity seems to have some value here.
  SOME BIBLICAL TRUTH IS RELATIVE TO THE SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE KNOWN AT THE "TIME" OF EXPLANATION. Surely the catholic church would not excommunicate Galileo in this modern day and age.

  The point is scientific discovery of what is true is accelerating making some long held biblical understanding obsolete and
  irrelevant. Some who have been cast out as apostate's may turn out to
  to be yet another Galileo.

  then josuha spoke to jehovah, the same day that jehovah delivered the amorites to the israelites.

  they wont leave me alone!

  i have a problem..i have been df'd for like 6 or 7 years i lose count but point is my parents are still stuck in the alternate dimension called jw and they seem to think that there is still a "chance" for me.

  lol..funny shit i think but anyway, the town i live in just happens to house some of my friggin elder pop's elder friends...like i thought when i got df'd that meant they would leave me alone but now that i have a wife and kid that arent jw related at all my parents seem to think that my wife will "convert" i trust my wife better than that and i know that there is no way that she would ever do that..she is as cynical as i am..my prob is that they have infiltrated me at my work and i dont want to have to be an asshole about it but i just need them to leave me be...anybody got any ideas on things i can do shy of buying a fully automatic weapon and perching myself on my front doorstep?

  anyway..i can hear the psychiatrist callin my name...lol..

  Mike have you ever thought about AKIDO politics? We are talkin about a
  seriously devoted R&F for the most part. Influence is power and power is influence.It only takes a small rudder to move a big ship.Align with the force and speed it into the iceberg. Just make sure there are enough intelligent life boats that are really concerned with rescue, at the present time I think not, most jw life boats are still in stormy weather and are fighting their own inner battles for personal survival and can't focus on rescue at the present. However
  I encourage you to keep calling out for united effort.Keep checking the tempreture.When enough exjw life boats attain equilibrium and a large enough consensus is made, then and only then can a force of significant magnitude be directed and applied to the legalistic rudder
  of Noahs Ark.

  this is the absolute best confirmation that i have seen so far, proving that prince is a jw for sure.

  i found this on the viewaskew website (news site for kevin smith, writer and director of clerks, dogma, and jay and silent bob strike back).. "fielding numerous 'are you high on the set' queries with patience and charm, he used the questions as a jumping off point for many personal anecdotes.

  in this view of the center of the magnificent barred spiral galaxy ngc 1512, nasa hubble space telescopes broad spectral vision reveals the galaxy at all wavelengths from ultraviolet to infrared.

  the colors (which indicate differences in light intensity) map where newly born star clusters exist in both "dusty" and "clean" regions of the galaxy.. this color-composite image was created from seven images taken with three different hubble cameras: the faint object camera (foc), the wide field and planetary camera 2 (wfpc2), and the near infrared camera and multi-object spectrometer (nicmos).. ngc 1512 is a barred spiral galaxy in the southern constellation of horologium.

  located 30 million light-years away, relatively "nearby" as galaxies go, it is bright enough to be seen with amateur telescopes.

  Here in Louisiana weve just built "LIGO" the laser interferometer Gravitationa-Wave observatory. It will link up
  with a "LIGO" in Washington State and another ligo type in Pisa,
  Italy in the near future to try and prove Einstiens theory of relativity. It detects Supernova gravity waves from outer space.
  The facility in Italy is called "VIRGO", named after the constellation. Check it out on the web.

  I think we've been found out!

  there have been a few things that have happened the past couple of weeks that makes me think that the word is being spread that we are "apostate.".

  first, a sister that i have known since i was a teenager, looked me dead in the eyes and did not even acknowledge me, twice in the same store.

  that didn't bother me because i have never liked her.
