  It's my anniversary today!

  i've been posting here a year!

  i was out for five years before i started posting here and i have learned so much in the last year.. thanks to simon and angharad for hosting this fun place full of friends.. i am amazed at how quickly some have made jedi or even emperor and here i am still a master member.

  i guess i just don't have as much to say, but i do read a lot and observe.. steve and i are really looking forward to meeting some of you in august!.

  Andi,

  You're definitely not paranoid. Go ahead and have a talk with the IT guys about setting up that tracker in your PC. Somebody is messing with you. It's true that the security for Win 9x and Me sucks as JanH and others here pointed out, but do everything to make sure your PC is secure and try doing it subtly as don't let your coworkers know it so that way, the bastard can get BUSTED in the act.

  That is a bad generalization. It's true that there are JWs who are very smart, but to compare/contrast JWs with non-JWs that way is just BullShit. Also, while many JWs are not college educated, that does not mean that they are dumb. I agree with what joanna said in regards to that.

  I have to add that because a Higher Education ( 4 year degree college education or Masters and PhD) encourages independent thinking, JWs are discouraged to seek Higher Education. Even if it is said that they relaxed that stance a little bit, it is still discouraged for a lot of JWs to go to colleges and universities.

  About the WatchTower and Awake magazines providing more education than college, how can you be sure of that? Can these magazines train you to become a doctor? a lawyer? an architect? or an engineer? I seriously doubt it.

  i was wondering if anyone wanted to come to my defense on this jw discussion board at http://www.beliefnet.org this jw that post as "rosemaybud" is driving me crazy and i am tired of trying to get her off my back.

  she never post about anything much, except to make hateful remarks to me or about me.

  i post as "loveofwaterlilies".

  My suggestion is: Continue posting on that board and ignore her pleas. Just keep continuing posting as to Piss that person Off. Remember: He who angers you, controls you. And what better way of controlling those drones than to anger them?
