how dumb and pathetic.. no extra training should be necessary for even slightly trained and disciplined soldiers.
i guess it is for some of the rabble that the us call "troops" though.. of course the real problem is not just those on the ground that have committed the latest attrocity.
it is the chain of command that tried to cover it up and all the way up to the president who sanctions bombing of civilian targets with nothing more than rumour for "intelligence".. from now on america, you are on your own.
Rules of Engagement currently enforced by U.S. troops in Iraq:
They cannot fire first. They can watch an insurgient load a mortar and launch it, or pull a gun and point at them directly, but are not allowed to fire to stop these actions until the mortar is launched or the bullet leaves the chamber from the opposers gun, considering he isn't dead by this time.

my son, just recently coming back into my life, told me he had his done,,,,and i was wondering,,any here know of theirs, and how it might have affected their lives, their outlook, etc.
I found out mine when they tested me at age 5. It was 138. Because of that the schools pressured me to do more, which wasn't good as a loyal JW. I excelled academically and had to hide it from my friends/family. I had a counsellor who called me to his office before graduation and handed me all the awards I had received but not been able to pick up. He gave me a speech I will never forget. But the repression from the JW teachings eventually contributed to my being stunted emotionally....handicapped me to an extent.
I now have symptoms of the "heightened perception" Auldsoul spoke of I think. Life is so beautiful and so painful. A big, open heart and an eagerness to live and learn will take you farther than a high IQ score.

JW parents take kids every day of the week. The cases make me sick. There is NOTHING WRONG with the non-JW parent; they terrorize the children with Armageddon and test their loyalty to Jehovah v. the other parent in the courts. Please be careful. Contact me asap.
The case a few years back where the JW parents went after the kids and the dad killed the kids, his wife, and then himself. They will do it.
