The Bible is NOT Error-Free
by FusionTheism infor many christians, the bible is viewed as the 100% error-free, perfect book straight from god, where every single word was carefully chosen by god for a reason.
but, usually, when you have a discussion on the topic, these christians will end up saying that only the original copies written directly from the hands of the prophets and apostles were error-free, and all manuscript copies since then are subject to copyist mistakes and other errors.. since zero original copies are in existence, how do we know the originals were error-free?
why should we think the originals should be error-free to begin with?

"I wrote about Paul's statement because I am so tired of people saying that Paul was inspired of God because he wrote that All Scripture is inspired of God. It obviously does not include his own writings."
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂..... "Obviously" dosent mean what you think it means... Obviously.

Jw's don't let their kids die because of blood...
by freemindfade inanother nauseating detail i remember from saturdays program.
there is a video (one of so many) shaming young people for being afraid to admit they are jw's.
one australian girl talks about how one of her teachers was saying jw's let their children die over the blood issue (fact) and she goes on to say how that is not true.

Maybe we should ask them, "well then why do you let your children die...?" -

Two creation stories in the bible, why have I never noticed this??
by purrpurr ini'm reading a very interesting book right now "your god is too small" by the atheist republic.
it makes the point that there are two creation accounts in the bible!.
in one humans are created after the animals in the second humans are created before the animals.

Indeed i have read that but of course not until i realized that the bible is a book of ancient jewish bed time stories could i see the possibility.
@prologos- that theory dosent hold water in dubbie land. They hold that eve was the last creation and that god rested from creative works after her. Nothing about creating more animals after the flood.

Cant we put financial pressure on the Borg?
by 1tMakesNoSence inwhy dont everyone just start taking publications, asking for more and just say you don't have any money.
.
if everyone does this, can't we put some significant financial pressure on the borg?.

I disfellowshipped my parents this week..
by fulano ini just wrote them a mail, telling them to not contact me any more under any circumstances, illness or death (79 and 83 years old).
unless they leave the cult and would apologize for our f*'.ed-up upbringing which ruined our whole life.

By witness rules and policy, you reap what you sow. If they sowed discord and shunning you.... Then they reap it in return. I hate the emotional blackmail to serve an imaginary bronze age goat herder god.
