  When the gb take photos i shrug and say its only human kindness and fellowship... when tight pants tony wears a huge ring its a "showy display of ones means of life" by "one of christs brothers" who is supposed to be a humble man. Just have some sense and a little class and take the damn ring off when you know your gonna be on camera

  how many jws would kill a violent rapist in there home or protect their family with lethal means .

  the one thing i love about the usa is the right to defend oneself with lethal force in their own home.

  it's not that i want to kill someone but better them dead than my children..

  John davis, you are 100% wrong. No state in the union says you have to retreat IN YOUR OWN HOME. In public, yes of course, in many states. "Stand your ground" became famous (or infamous) during the george zimmerman trail but those laws have no bearing on home defense.

  Dutch conventions organized like circuits

  here in holland jw.org is organizing for the first time the yearly conventions like circuits.

  the whole summer the new convention hall is used for small group conventions instead of 10.000 seat external halls.. it keeps the money in the organization.

  not renting external buildings.. the 29.000 witnesses here are divided now into 2.000 seat audience.. g..

  Its interesting gorby, here in the usa the convention i picked my daughter up from was also all the same circuit, although held in a typical larger arena. Peak attendance was only 6k though, whoch is much smaller than normal.... this seems to be the new norm. Please dear thor make them stop the traveling crap!!!!

  With no new releases i heard more than a few grumble that the effort wasnt worth it anymore

  Anyone read the latest Awake (on the supernatural)?

  just read some of this latest awake on the org's webshite.. it begins by talking about the 'supernatural' - wizards, witches, vampires, etc.

  - their popularity and why they might appeal to people.

  then it goes on to state the wt belief that someone is 'behind it'.. now, i like a few horror/scary films - when i was a kid, i always actually liked being a bit scared by them, tbh.. the silence of the lambs, a nightmare on elm street (1984), the ring, the witch, the thing (1982) and a few others are all great, imo.. they are just genres and subgenres of film, that's all.

  The big green egg crate is what they stack the dishes on to run them through the dishwasher, as seen in the pic. They have the sprayer and sinks for pre rinsing and such. So so so fake. And i bet the dubbs lap it up because it ls exactly what they want to see and believe. And i really dislike that arrogant jackass in particular.

  That is the phoniest most staged crap pic ever. Bull. Shit. As already noted, NOBODY wears long sleeves to wash dishes. Nobody wears french cuffs and cuff links. Nobody wears their nice watch (and i own a few). Bull. Shit.
