If i had to guess i would go with blondie’s basic direction. They defacto tithe on the congregatio level as it is with the perpetual mortgage. I would guess they take it a step farther and ask the congregation to send all donations and the branch will pay all the bills and be able to keep a tight hold on finances that way. The issue will be hiding that money from lawsuits and some others legal sticking points but they will make somesort of move in that way is my guess

If he/she (however it self-identifies) had a point id happily show shim where shim is wrong, but absent a point to debate what is there to do but shake ones head in disbelief and wonder if mandatory IQ tests should accompany internet access.
