  the news this morning, santa ana man arrested for molesting three young girls.. he used his 6 year old daughter to arrange play dates with the other girls.. they showed the kh and stated he was a member of the church.

  unable.

  to find any other info on the case, not sure if he was a jw.. his name jesus agullary, not sure if that's the correct spelling..

  London Bethelites Are Agitated!

  a source has informed me that a relative who's in london bethel has said that a number of bethelites there are very uncomfortable and embarrassed because the branch has received "quite a few letters" querying why members of the governing body were wearing flashy rings and jewellery on some of the monthly broadcasts, but on the broadcast when the g.b.

  asked for more money from the congregations - their gold and jewellery was not on display!.

  will probably emerge one day wearing sackcloth, begging for yet more donations..

  some of you know about my son's condition and how he almost died had it not been for the transfusion he received.. my wife took him to the children's hospital for routine labs and pain in his leg.

  on the way in she saw a jw cart right outside the outpatient exit.

  DOC. I would not care in this situation. Even when I was in I wouldn't do something like stand in front of a hospital. I would have harassed/shamed them until they left the area.

  Just have to vent as this has been commented on before. Some of you know about my son's condition and how he almost died had it not been for the transfusion he received.

  My wife took him to the children's hospital for routine labs and pain in his leg. On the way in she saw a jw cart right outside the outpatient exit. When she texted me about this my blood boiled. I called the hospital and let them know how much we appreciate all the hospital does, but how distressing it was too see that cart. I briefly spoke to her about their blood policy which she was aware of, and how they shun those that leave and that my family is currently experiencing that.

  The administrator was very understanding and stated that it was an added stress we shouldn't have to endure at the hospital. She sent security guards to have them leave. She called me back and let me know that they walked to the sidewalk where it was public property a few feet away and that she could take no further action.

  We have to go there once to twice a month for his treatment. I almost drove the 45 minute drive from my office to go there and give those jws a piece of my mind.

  I day dreamed what I would say to those shameful ambulance chasers. This is how it went.

  Me - Are you going to the cemetery after you leave here?

  Them - Huh? What do you mean?

  Me - I figured that would be the next logical place for ambulance chasers to go get converts. Get them when their defenses are down and experiencing tremendous sadness.

  Them - We don't do that. We are here to help people.

  Me - So will you donate blood? Fund cancer research? Donate to make a wish? My son will soon be a beneficiary of that.

  Them - We share a hope of a permanent solution. One that means eternal life and heath.

  Me - That is cult talk. You should be ashamed standing here in front of a children's hospital. You would let your child die if they needed a blood transfusion. I wonder how many passersby know this about you and your group. Get out of here and go peddle your crap propaganda elsewhere.

  Vinman there is a great difference as mentioned here between ridiculing a person and ridiculing their beliefs.

  Dawkins put it well when he stated that I respect you to much as another human being to respect your delusional beliefs. The problem is that for many religious people their identity is tied up with what they believe.

  Belief in made up things whatever they may be does not merit respect.

  my father was diagnosed with alzheimers disease.. .

  before his dementia grew worse he requested to be baptized in jesus name.. .

  when i see him and hear him talk now it is nothing less than a miracle from god.

  so i ran into this brother whom ive known for a while and the conversation led into me being invited to come back to the kingdom hall.

  we talked for about an hour during which time i explained to him 607 being the wrong date and a lot of other stuff including the child abuse cases in australia.

  but what i wanted to relate was the last few minutes of our conversation.

  when i thought of myself as a christian witness of yahweh attempting to be a footstep follower of jesus, psalm 104 was one of my favourites.

  if i was ever in some wonderful scenic area, psalm 104 would jump into my mind, and i'd start to praise yahweh and jesus.. but if something horrible came to mind as in the following video, i'd always think of the favourite christian escape clause, it's all because of adam's sin.

  but any connection between natural animal savagery and adam's sin is never logically made in the bible.. interestingly, the supposedly inspired psalm 104 (nwt-the grey one i guess) itself says that:.
