  ok that thing startled me so bad, i saw it out of the corner of my eye and i thought it was a big spider crawling on my computer screen at first. i totally shrieked, then felt like an idiot. :P

  my nan checked on him a bit later, and found he'd died in his sleep.

  i'm so sorry to hear about your loss, scooby. i lost my grandfather when i was 15 and it was not easy. i do hope you are doing alright.

  how is your self confidence?

  one of the things that i have noticed since i have been out of the borg is how my self confidence always seems to be in the dumper.

  i don't know if this is beause we were never permited to have any original thoughts or if it is just a personality flaw.

  i am always looking for assurance from my fiancee, friends, and coworkers that i am doing good.

  i've always been far too trusting of others, but i think i am beginning to outgrow that slowly but surely.

  i've always had really low self-confidence and self esteem as well. i don't really know if it is due to my experience growing up as a JW....i think i would probably be in the same boat even if i hadnt been raised as a witness. i've always had a very bad tendency to evaluate my worth based purely on my looks, and i am such a perfectionist in that respect, so i never measure up. i'm hoping as i grow older i'll be able to rectify that.

  people are always surprised to find this out about me, i guess i dont look the type, but hair bands and death metal rock my socks off!!! i dont know why but i get the biggest kick out of both genres

  oh yeah. lemme do some digging and i'll find you a link. you can check out some of their old stuff on CD Baby but their new CD has way better sound quality. hm.....if anyone knows of a way you can e-mail mp3's i can totally do that. i'll get back to ya because they are so awesome, i want everyone to be able to hear them :)
