Not just at David, the whole nation KNEW God forbade the counting of ALL the nation. So any who agreed to be numbered in David's census were guilty before God also. Exodus 30:11-14 and 1Chronicles 21:1-6
... king david is who my ex would throw in my face after his infidelity saying King david did it and God forgave HIM.blah blah blah...
This is both a guilt trip and disrespectful to God because is is He that gave the innocent mate the AUTHORITY to disolve the marriage!!! -

Why is there death and suffering?

Shit, if God is all knowing and all powerfull, and will correct the problem,,doesn't inspire us with confidence. Since the problem kinda tell us he isn't all knowing and all powerful. And if you piss him off he will just zap you either to hell or death, like he did at the flood or the poor jews at 70 AD.
Is it possible, do you think, that God likes to live in the moment and enjoys the spontaneity of life like we do? Why must He merely be limited to constantly controling everything? If someone slips on a Bananna peal can't He laugh or must He save him/her from falling on their butt??
And why is God often accused of being short tempered? Rarely did He just Zap someone (ie:Herod and the worms) He has not shown Himself to be arbitrary.
I don't care about opinions that much every one is has the right to there opinions. I'm exercizing the right to my opinion and disagreeing. I think that is ok don't you?
We do agree about this. -

I like these two pictures:
Few people give God the 'benefit of the doubt.'
Human death was forced on us. God is working out the problem and will correct it.

Has anyone ever looked at this before? Live Journal Challenge
by Freedom Fighter inff lays down the gauntlet - .
i defy anyone on this board to access livejournal.com and read the posts in the witness teens community without gagging.. such a waste of young lives - anonymous posting is not allowed - you have to give your congregation number and answer some borganisation based questions before posting access is allowed.
this is of course to prevent renegades such as ourselves from stumbling these pure innocents.. some of the posts are quite interesting - the old world versus the borg problem is always simmering away as you would expect.. go on, you know you want to.... have a look

Giving Jehovah our best....
by undercover init's interesting how your memory gets jogged by little things.
i was washing my hands at work when i noticed that someone had watered down the liquid soap.
i was instantly taken back several years ago when i was an ms given a cleaning assignment at an assembly taking place in the assembly hall.

I laughed, expecting him to laugh along too, like he got me on a good joke, but no. He was dead serious.
The faucet handle was missing. How did that happen? Who would steal a faucet handle?...We needed to go see the Assembly Hall overseer to "check out" the faucet handle...We had to sign for it, use it, bring it back to him and him only.
... if we are to give Jehovah our best, how can you justify watering down cleaning supplies used on his place of worship? That assembly left a very bad taste in my mouth. I was very frustrated after that assembly. I remember all of the issues around the cleaning but I couldn't tell you one thing about any of the talks or experiences.
That's the problem, those leading Jehovah's people are very small minded and the effect it has is VERY BAD!

one organization calls "the pervading attitude among many people...that older persons have outlived their usefulness, are unproductive and over-dependent."
They probably said it and wont admit it.
Likewise, you can draw sustenance from the waters of Bible truth by your study of God's Word and by association with his organization.
What about personal prayer?? Meeting attendace is better than PRAYER???
Your ready acceptace of the Bible's counsel and your loyal support for "the faithful and discreet slave" and the congregation will have a strengthening effect on the Christian brotherhood.
Bible counsel as they narrowly define it combined with an 'obey without question' attitude toward all in authority!
You have noted the clarification (buzzword) and have witnessed the progressive refinement (buzzword) of the visible part of God's organization.
No, we haven't.
Today's world, characterized by a lack of gratitude, has little time for the elderly.
This has to be the GB complaining about being criticized and not appreciated!
