for me, i think it was time and the realization of the idiocy of the beliefs and man made doctrines.
i just couldn't ignore it any longer..

i wondered what would happen if 10% of those who received them, turned up?
in fact if only 2.5% turned up, our kingdom hall would not cope as it would mean in excess of another 250 people coming, even 1% would be another 100 and we couldn't cope.
does the society, have a means of guestimating the percentage that may turn up for every 1000 leaflets distributed?or is it just busy work for the publishers?
It just makes them feel these occasions are more important and that it is more important for them to be there.
what is the difference between observing memorial and toasting?.
isn't "toasting" the act of raising a glass in acknowledgement of agreement?.
isn't toasting forbidden in jw land?.
Don't you need everyone to have a glass to be in the spirit of a toast? It seems odd that just passing a single one could construe that. And what is it dedicated to? You are not honoring Christ so much as symbolically inviting him into yourself.
i was baptized in early 90s and live in eastern europe.. from your comments i noticed, that some time in the past jws had a problem with smurfs... like being afraid of or avoiding ... i never heard anything about that in my dub life... .
so is there some story behind that?
did you play with smurfs as kids?
Honestly I never heard about it either. I gathered it was more of an 80's thing that I didn't know more.
according to this article, not all papers will be gone, and some that are gone was due to mismanagement more than the bad economy: http://www.slate.com/id/2215154/?gt1=38001.
that being said, i'm sure the wb&ts will do whatever is most profitable for them, as usual..
I could see them making the magazines available on CD or download for sure. Then they could hand out "codes" to download the pubs at the door. LOL.
johnson v. johnson.
opinion.
burke, justice.. in this case, appellant rudy johnson challenges the superior court's reliance on the tender years presumption in awarding custody of his young children to their mother, linda johnson.. rudy and linda johnson were married in 1966. their daughter, april, was born in 1968 and their son, darrin, in 1970. several years after their marriage, rudy and linda became involved with the jehovah's witnesses, and both were baptized into the congregation.
At least they got exposure to their father's lifestyle and point of view.
here is an excellent video regarding the accusation that skeptics are.
"close-minded" to the supernatural and to woo-based explanations .
if you have ever been on either side of one of these conversations, .
If I refuse to believe that my bad breath is a result of the fact that my lawn grows is that close-minded?
