I love it! I am soooooooo proud of you! You have a great attitude & are very kind to feel sorry for them like we should, since they are living in a smokescreened world! anyhow, stand firm & resist falling into their guilt trip tactics. don't ever 2nd guess your decision to get out of that twisted org. i'm praying for you all! quite frankly, i think that the mistletoe idea was great, except you need to greet them rear-end first! Take care & remember that you have tons of real people who are cheering for you here!

Now I`ll be disfelowshiped for sure ...
by invictus inwell after two months of silence i got a couple of phone calls from my "best jw friends".
probably motivated by november watchtower instructions, they were nice asking about a family, kids etc, and then came "the" question: when are you going back to the meetings?
i told them again reasons why not ,yet they tried to be sympathetic by warning: as long as you do not go around and bad-mouth the organization we can still be friends.

Cover-Ups
by Sentinel ini'm hearing more and more about jfk, his life and his murder.
the more i hear, the more i believe it was a government conspiracy.
all of that aside, did anyone hear this interesting tid-bit--they say that he "had to be killed--because he was the only us president that was a catholic, and the only president who wasn't a mason".

Sentinel,
I'm sorry that you are getting some neg responses, but I think there is some truth to the conspiracy. I wasn't even born until the 70's, & I still find it all interesting. JFK was no angel when it came to his personal life, but I still think he was a great prez. I like to read & watch documentaries, and I remember being about 5yrs old when I viewed my 1st one with my dear ol' dad. Are you from Dallas?

Ma'am,
I just registered here to become a member & if i could, i would give you a great big hug & throw you a party! i wish my husband would remove his smokescreen glasses & do what you did! i prayed last pm for people to get out of the org! you will face some rainy days, but there is always a blessing in the storm! in other words, you will find others that will love & accept you for BEING you! that's the beauty about being in the real world...people can like you without any requirements of who to associate with, how many meetings you attend, and all of that other unimportant dogcrap! those are man's rules, not Gods! Don't let them get to you. Pray for them too, and always kill 'em with kindness. If they could see how happy you are, then that will get the wheels spinning in their head as to why you now have a bounce in your step, and how you now shine like never before! Way to go & Congrats!
Sincerely-
j
