Who remembers "Welcome to the Great Crowd" ?

i was baptized in 1986 at the tender age of 11 yoa, but i remember after sitting through that stupid talk (where i almost fell asleep, no kidding) and then prayer, then getting dunked, then they announced a welcome to all newly baptized people and said "welcome to the great crowd" .

it's so weird remembering that specifically.. now i think, welcome to the great dwindling crowd of duped people not going anywhere.

I was babtized in 86 also. Funny thing is, I don't remember any of it. The talk, questions or dunk. It was at a CA in Woodland Hills, Cali.

The fact that the WBTS has flip flopped on policies so much that the average R&F don't even know what the current new light always is at any point in time. For old timers I would have to say UN coverup if you can get them around the thinking it is all an apostate conspiracy. For people like Slimboyfat, nothing. They take every helping of ~~shit~~ new light and beg for more.

their was this guy that we saw on the sidewalk yelling things at the witnesses that were walking by.

they called him mr. coffee.

rumor had it that the demons wouldnt leave him alone unless he did this everyday and that his wife was a reg.

hi guys and gals....... .

i would just like to extend greetings to all those poor souls who had to endure the torturous childhood of growing up in a strict jw lifestyle as i had.

i didn't know that there were such forums on the net, and i was made aware of this by my sister who is also a member here, i believe.. i find this kind of funny really.
