Ok, I sorta chickened out as far as the apostisizing goes but I did drive by my local KH. Hey, I'm not obsessed or anything but I did have to go out for something and the KH is on the way, sorta. The parking lot was full but not completely and I didn't see anyone outside. To be completely honest, it just looked like a slightly busy Sunday morning but not much more. I decided against doing anything because this KH isn't really my KH, in fact I've only been to this one once and that was a few years back, so I really don't know anyone there. Plus, my present work and house are all located in close proximity to this KH, and it probably is best to retain my aninimity. Maybe next year, I will strike at my old KH, about an hour away from my present home, or some other random KH.

Ah yes the Vibe, you should go to Edmunds.com for a complete review. From there you can get the scoop on everything from pricing to what you can fit in the back of the car. If you decide to buy, don't buy from the dealer in person, do it all online, you will probably get the best deal. I'm not looking for a new car yet, but I did drive by a Toyota dealership today to look at the new Scions-not bad but I did see the Prius, very nice but I'm not sure if it is worth the extra couple thousand compared to a comparative strictly gasoline powered vehicle. I hate cars, I wish I could just live somewhere where I could just take the subway all the time or a helicopter.

ANOTHER WT "RULE" - Are they kidding?
by Sirona inhttp://www.watchtower.org/library/w/2003/6/1/article_01.htm
does the fact that incense is used in religious ceremonies and in spiritism mean that all incense-burning is wrong?
not necessarily.

What happened to Garafalo's hair? I don't have XM radio, maybe one day but I did stream it through the internet, and I wasn't really that impressed. Then again, I don't really like that much talk radio except for a little Stern and the car talk guys, and Fresh Air on NPR. Other than that, show me the music. Lately, I've been using the free music channels on ITunes which offer a wide selection with good streaming quality, more than I can say for Air America which kept breaking up.

Mussings on Society
by Yerusalyim inopening myself up to a lot of criticism...but here goes.. i guess i'm getting more cynical...and losing hope in society in general...here's what bothers me.. when i was a kid back in the 1970's i could walk out the door in the morning...and not come home until supper...and i was safe.
those days are long gone.
as i've stated before...society has become oversexualized...and has lost it's moral compass.

Today, even in the most rural areas, school rifle teams are a distant memory, a teacher that allows a student to bring any part of a firearm whatsoever to school would be fired in a heartbeat and a student that so much as brings an empty, decapped shellcasing into class is liable to be expelled. Who's afraid here?
No offense, but thank goodness school rifle teams are a distant memory, I couldn't imagine attending one of those classes. Then again, I wasn't really allowed to attend any extra classes but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be something involving making a gun stock. The whole picture reminds me of Bowling For Columbine where Moore gets a gun at a bank for opening an account. You see guns and banks and guns and schools just don't mix.

Sounds like something WorldCom, now MCI would do. Anyways with my unlimited plan, I call anyone at anywhere at anytime.

Dan, I was just kidding, I was merely repeating what Clark had said that old Rumsy had told him shortly after 9/11-which I thought were hilarious but not really when you think about it on an individual basis as to how many people are dying when those good old targets get hit.

Price of gas....
by Atilla inthe price of gasoline sure is getting high, in my area it is about $1.65, i guess not too bad compared to other areas.
i'm not too worried because my camry gets pretty good gas mileage and i don't usually have to commute too far.. however, i think this summer it may reach over $2 in many areas.
i just wonder how this will affect summer aux.

Yeah, I think it sucks for everyone here in the states, especially for the poorer who will be most affected. However, it may be what's best in the long run if it gets us thinking about more fuel efficient, environment friendlier cars and alternative fuel resources like solar energy. The transition won't be painless though. I think some form of solar energy will ultimately win out, bar none, the sun in the most abundant resource we have here on earth.
