  How Do You View Men , Women and Children??

  after reading blondie's wt.

  review, we can't help but see how the society and much of society in general views women and men.

  women are supposed to be subservient and in subjection to males.

  I should have also added that my views aren't entirely rational...but driven from being an ex-JW ...logically i know there are many great guys out there....my hang-ups which I am trying put aside. Maybe finding this site and a place to air all this craziness will help.

  wow....i know it is JW policy to disassociate from us worldly types -- but exJWs...you must have a chip on your shoulder the size of Texas!

  and just fyi, with my combination of irish and french, i've yet to meet the one i can't outdrink ... coffee, likker, you name it

  and finally for the record, i only run when chased.

  I find my experiences as a JW have not only made me mistrustful of men, but bordering on hostile in many instances....assuming they are trying to control or boss me.

  I think this is from years of elders, male JWs, crazy doctrine which oppressed women and children.

  I also think being an exJW parent made me a little more lax so as to try and compensate with my kids for all the wrongs done to me.

  Lastly, it has made me less tolerant of women who are not fiercely strong minded and independent, because I (somewhat incorrectly) believe this puts women at risk of being controlled or wrongly submissive.

  wow...had me going for a minute there..lol...i guess the only thing better than an exJW is a funny exJW!!

  although I have only met 2 exJWs since I left 20 years ago....isn't that bizarre ?

  well if the club meets soon and can stand one more I certainly hope you'll let me know. Send me a p/m (i think that is the forum lingo for private email...but could be wrong) and i'll be there. thanks,
