I have to give it to ya on the viet vet comment, notice i edited my post nearly immediately (as in deleted it). I realized what a fruitless effort that would be...arguing with Republicans is kind of like trying to deprogram a JW who rings your bell. See, I am a smart chick.

Never fear, I share your Marriphobia. maybe we should start a club? fear of losing control of remote is no sillier than fear of movies with the word YA YA...what's the latest chick move you love to hate? i bet you're one of those closet chick movie watchers. You single guys are all alike, especially when you get old and alone...rent the chick movies and tear up in secret...gotta find a release somewhere, once you become a monk.

Senators Told Iraq Had WOMD & Delivery Capability

u.s. sen. bill nelson said monday the bush administration last year told him and other senators that iraq not only had weapons of mass destruction, but they had the means to deliver them to east coast cities.

nelson, d-tallahassee, said about 75 senators got that news during a classified briefing before last october's congressional vote authorizing the use of force to remove saddam hussein from power.

It was incidental to a conversation...not the point of it...and no one except you and Wilson believe the White House revealed this info as a "get even" ploy.

sorry Yeru you are wrong there, many many people believe otherwise...and not just rabid democrats. from the tone of your posts, i'd say you could apply the same adjective to the tone of your political leanings.

basically it appears that a larger portion of Americans than you'd care to admit believe they have been suckered by their President and the cast of characters he's surrounded by.

loss of control....let's see....that might include kidnapping, incarceration, forced back into JW fever.

awwwwwwwww, poor O&C ..... marriphobia is a well-known male condition, rarely cured I hear. Which of course I don't fully understand since it is us chicks that sacrifice the driver's seat, the remote control, and hell knows what else (our sanity????) for the M-precipice.

The truth slowly dawned on me when my husband was killed in a car accident and I prayed and PRAYED for the end to come because I had convinced myself that if it happened right away, maybe we could still be husband and wife...in the NEW ORDER....as I went through the grieving process, and gave birth to our daughter....the light became clearer and clearer....all the doubts I had throughout my life were justified, my questions unanswerable by the other blinded fools I was in company with....none of the pap we had been fed made any sense whatsoever.

Truthseeking and finding can be very painful, but worth it in the long run. I found my truth and indeed it set me free.

How Have You Regained Your Optimism (if you have)?

my experience in the jws and now that i am out is i am robbed of most of my optimism.

while in....we were taught fear and 2 choices....eternal life on earth under much the same administration which was full of drudgery, judgement, motivation by guilt....or....death.
