Should I take the high road?
by smurfy inok, my fiance freelife already posted on here that his father called him on saturday to let him know he's having surgery on his back.
this call come after months of absolutely nothing!!
i did meet them once and of course they were completely nice to my face and totally opposite behind my back, which i guess is not surprising since in their eyes i am corrupting their son.

Need to vent about my job!!
by smurfy ini work at a bank doing processing, underwritine, inputting, closing, signing and anything else related to mortgage or home equity lines of credit.
as we all know the rates have been incredibly low for the past 2 years.
last year the bank more than took care of me with my raise and my bonus.

Does the grinch represent the JW's
by smurfy injust a thought.
i grew up with how the grinch stole christmas and how at the end of the story he saw what the true meaning of christmas was.
however this year, the first time i was reading this story to my 5 yr old son with my fiancee in the room i started to giggle about how much it seemed to represent parts of his past.

Should I invite the parents to our wedding??
by smurfy inok, here's a problem that i am looking for a little advice with.
my fiance is an ex jw and his parents (and other family members) are still practicing.
they have pretty much totally cut him off since he moved in with me.
