Anyone interested in a new Elder Video?
by SickofLies inok here's the plan: i am planning on writing the elders a letter stating my concerns over issues such as 607 bce, un, their de-emphsis on jesus.
i am a major techo freak, i have spy camaras with color and sound, webcams, a cell phone with 512mb of memory that can take video's with sound and high quality tape recorders.
i am having car troubles right now, so the elders are going to come over to my house to meet.

Elders have no manners

why do they never phone first and make an appointment?
i have asked them to do this but they won't comply.

Sorry were I came from we always called or made appointments. I was an MS and when I went out with the elder in our bookstudy he always would make arrangements with the people first. I think this is the only right thing to do.

i gave that un report to my (hardcore jw to the extreme max, but in a nice way) aunt, and she didn't speak of it for several days.

He simply cannot grasp that it was not for a library card or they were 'tricked' into being members and fails to see the revelance in the whole thing. Blinders firmly attached.
This would be the time to ask this question why would the organization need to get a library card or anything from an organization that is not approve by God? If a Witness were to say they were going into a church to get some religious information for research, what would happen to this person? When one thanks logically about it anyone as an individual that would get involved in some organization that is not approved of by the organization, they would get DF. No excuse given would be good enough, such as needing to get some information.

Did the elders ask for sexual details at your Judicial meeting?

i personally know of two cases where the witness being disfellowshipped was asked to provide excruciating details about the exact nature of the "sex crime" that they had committed.. having read the secret elders manual "pay attention to yourselves and all the flock" i know this is standard operating procedure for a judicial hearing.
for those that were disfellowshipped for a "sex crime"

Yes -- they do ask for details and even when in a commitee they will sometimes ask questions which have nothing to due with the current sin, but trying to find some other way to trap a person..

The good thing is a lot of us have figured it out and have accepted our stupidity for what it was and where it came from. We realize the watchtower publications did not have all the answers as they said they did and the watchtowers definition of a man and a husband was fashioned after the whims old 19th century power and control freaks that looked at women as possessions and just one slight level above a slave.
Sorry I can not agree with this comment- We are told to treat women as Jesus treated the congregation, but the problem is that most often time, we are told to over look the faults of our marriage mate. However if the mate is abuses this should not mean that a wife has to over look this. No were in the bible did Jesus ever critize his Apostles or even put them down, even when they abandon him. Believe me people like Chimee exhusband him will get their due.

I feel sorry that we continue as a black race to allow overself to be victims and we do not get the BIG picture --- we as a black race have the wealth of the 10 largest country - why is it we still do not seem to be able to progress and move forwarded -- we continue to line the pockets of others and not our future generations --- some one hear said they feel sorry for the people running here from Somalia -- but when - JT made his commemt about us everyone is in an uproar -- TO be honest - once those Somalia get their heads on straight and can see the opportunities available here they will end up better them some of us born here -- I work and love among foreigners and believe me -- they get the picture -- we are still living in the past and being victims - we are still judging people by the brand name of clothes,shoes, expensive car a peson drives and etc -- the sad thing if we would read books like the millionnaire next door -- we would see that most people who have money don't worry about -- these things -- They say the truth hurts -- oh well

I agree with JT -- I am African American and we need to solve our issues and stop blaming other people. What has happen in the passed has happen in the pass. I give an example I often times see where we like nice clothes, cars and etc -- how may times have a driven by apartment complexes and seen nice card landrovers, lexus and etc and watch as a black person walk out the door of their apartment closed the car and get into their exspensive car. I drive a 99 nissan Altima which is almost paid for and my wife drives a 00 honda civic which is almost paid for -- we recently brought a house which has gone way up in value --- guess what I will be driving my Altima until it falls apart and she will be doing the same with her honda -- because we choose to invest in something which will provide a return on our money and not just exspensive things which will lose money -- make money work for us is what we as blacks have not learn to do ----
