Aikon, if Dansk's kids are of legal age, he cannot do a single thing to get them out of the org but try to reach them with the truth. What exactly would you have him do? And what the hell are you waiting for when it comes to getting your family out?

I have 3 daughters, all under age still. Two of them see the truth and now only look at the meetings as a place to meet cute boys. The other, well, she still believes and it is a process to wing her from this mess called "Jehovah's messianic organization." I cannot rip her away without doing some real damage to her emotionally. Little steps are required, but I see that she is coming out of it. Some band-aids have to be taken of slowly, not ripped quickly.

Stop judging Dansk. You have walked into a hornet's nest.

Long before I began to distrust the Org, I use to refute the speech and reasoning of my exwife, an angry maniac fanatic, a woman who was otherwise normal until I encouraged her to start studying . . . my bad.

When I would challenge her screwed up way of thinking with sound reasoning- common sense stuff, she would call me an apostate. Ha, ha, wait til she hears what I have to say now! She will freak.

Sorry, but she is a kook and full of WT crap. I was df'd for 13 years, for smoking, before I decided the org was a load. All those years my eyes were "open" to the teachings of the WTBTS, and I never ever for one second ever thought badly of the org or any of my former fellow brothers and sisters. All those years while df'd, I defended the org and their version of the truth, and I intended to get back one day . . . I was merely waiting until I could go back with a clean conscience and live completely for the org and Jehovah without hypocracy. I had stopped going yet Jehovah never took away my "eyes wide open'" outlook or belief. When I learned about the controversial issues such as hidden images in the WT publications, blood, NGO, and child abuse, and watching the acts of the JW apostles as they tried to ruine my kids did I begin to take exception to their ways. What that sister said to you is self-righteous garbage.

Those true Christians are proved by their fruits. The JW's I am thinking of are like the trees Matthew talks about getting cut down and thrown into the fire. I want to be the one holding the match.

I use to see that look of weariness in my mother's face often. She had been df'd for having a relationship with a worldly man, and she was working toward her reinstatement. Two weeks before her reinstatement she said to me, "I no longer care if I make it or not, I just wish Armageddon would get here . . .". The night of her reinstatement she was killed by a drunk driver as we left the Kingdom Hall.

She had waited soooooo long for the promises of the GB. She went from hell to breakfast, and I love that about her. I could tell that she had lost faith in the promises tho.

there are some pretty f-d up elders out there in the org.

i have always dealt with heavy duty crap with a sense of humor, but i still feel deeply about the issue and it effects me.

ok, we know that field service, for the most part is unproductive.

that is, very few newly baptised jw's are from converts.

that means that most dubs make babies, indoctrinate them, and they become dubs.

I have 3 kids raised thus far in the "troof", and only one still shows a real interest in going to the meetings of her own volition. I talk to her about the NGO thing, and other issues, and I can see it is opening her eyes . . . we will see.
