  afp - a 75-year-old man in nepal married a dog in a local custom to ensure good luck only to die three days later, a newspaper reported.

  God Loses Another Star

  the heavens declare the glory of god, his matchless qualities.

  he calls the stars by name, not one is missing, except ...astronomers said a star about the size of our sun neared the black hole after veering off course following a close encounter with another star.. the effect is the same that the tug of the moon has on the earth's oceans, but with much more violent results.

  the black hole consumed an estimated 1 percent of the doomed star, flinging the rest out into space.. .

  what is the most off the wall thing you've heard from a jw?.

  here is mine..... a month ago my dad (disassociated) gave me a dog named lucky.

  trying to get lucky used to his new home and new people we put him in a kennel when we would leave.

  When I was a kid, the local barber used to give anyone who came into his barbers shop a free lollipop.

  I hope they don't do this a Cost Cutters Hair Salon - that would make poor Shotgun wince.

  Perhaps the WBTS could use these at Assemblys - instead of getting brothers & sisters to do the dramas, they could use Lego people - at least the acting wouldn't be so wooden.

  well my fellow worm, isn't it so nice that god loves us his little worms.

  i think we need to see ourselves for what we really are compared to god,, if we ever really want to "see god" not with the eyes or physical senses but with the higher senses that use not light or sound.

  I finally finished "Crisis of Conscience"

  last night, i decided to finally finish off the book.

  it takes me forever to read a book, and after a year, i've finally completed it.

  quite a good book, although i found myself skimming through the last chapter called "perspective".

  CoC is really a superb book, it took me a week-end to read. Unfortunately, as far as I am aware, it is still not available in the UK. I went to 2 largest book stores in Birmingham and was told by both, US only and that was only 12 months ago. I eventually got it thru Amazon. Why isn't available off the shelf here?

  Anyone in the UK, it is well worth the effort to get a copy, from anywhere.

  joseph was 30 when pharo gave him egypt,why because he prefigured jesus, david was 30 when god made him king,why because he prefigured jesus.why was jesus 30 when god gave him his ministry,because thats the age adam was when god gave him eve.. why would god put all of these scriptures in the bible if adam was only 25 or 26 when god made eve.

  gen 41:46 num 4:3 num 4:23 2sam 5:4 1chron 23:3 luke 3:23 adam was the first king.

  an age god decided a man was of age.because if jesus was 30 and adam was only 25 then the devil has a legal case that god is cheating, that jesus had longer to develop than adam.
