  I wrote a letter of complaint about a Witness....

  the witness was/is a "racist".

  i was told by her that i could not go to the local kingdom hall, or have a copy of the watchtower or awake because i was black.

  Since she is not a JW, there probably will be some action taken. They usually act on something they consider to be making a "bad" witness.

  some dumb congressman taking a loaded glock pistol onto an aircraft.. a guy was just jailed for 9 months in the uk for arriving at heathrow (from washington dulles) with amminution in his jacket.

  I'm DEFINITELY with CountryGirl on this one! The last two states I have lived in do not have clergy confidentiality clauses, so I am thankful for that. But I am appalled that other states have not done the same.

  Did anyone go to or read the Watchtower that was covered this last Sunday? They pointed out how the WT was looking forward to the year 1914 as the end of the appointed times. They did point out that many were dissappointed in not going to heaven that year, but only after they praised themselves for being "correct" about 1914. It's such a cover up.

  The other thing I don't understand is that the preaching work came to a near stand still from 1914 to 1918. If this is supposedly when Jesus returned to identify those who were faithful and discreet, what was it that set the JWs apart from others? Especially if they weren't spearheading their beloved door to door work?

  Remember when the new songbook Sing Praises to Jehovah came out? There was a song in there, I forget the name, but the melody when starting was very gloomy, sounded like a funeral dirge, and said "Dark days are here, man lives in fear, with dire expectation, as to all creation...yadayada ya. Then the chorus totally changes to a Looney tunes type melody. Most people in the KH thought this song was funny.

  That was my favorite song!!! When I was a teenager, I memorized all the words so I could sing loud and over exaggerate the highs and lows and make it sound even sillier!
