I feel that there exist a bond between all jws and that this worldwide.

imo it's more a case of sharing common ground, the people you bond with are people you'd probably bond with even if you had never been a jw.

We have a lot in common. JW is in our marrow.

i don't think it's in anyone's marrow, it's just deep programming, deeper in some than in others.

Of course, in order for this to work, jws really have to get real benefits out if it not just waste their time.

again, from what i've seen on this site, people are already getting benefits, and the beauty of it is that they only get them when they want to come here, so they are never wasting their time.

In Unity there is strenghth and power. A Union of JWS worldwide is a good thing. THink of it. The many benefits, the power of unity, the good feeling one has to help fellow jws now. An org deditacated to help jws and not to raise prophets from the dead or profits for their living, on the contrary an org dedicated to serving jws and not jws deditacated to serving an org. As I said before, the only requirement to be a member is that the individual took the plunge and became a baptized jw in the past .

i find the idea of a UNION of jw's as insane as the jw's are already, and the language you use sounds like jw langauge, is it meant to? organisation, union, association, benefits, don't be afraid, dedicated, requirement, individual.

A legitimiate org, not a scam, and not a freeloader's paradise but a structured united org representing and addressing the needs, wishes, and will of jws worldwide in and out of "the truth" that memebers can benefit from now.

This is the next move for all jws. Im not kidding

really i didn't post this to cause offence, it's something i remember reading a few years ago and i found it again, and shared, i found it amusing, yes a tad offensive, but so what, it's not all moonlight and roses, and i laughed... i suppose i'll burn in hell for that, oh well.

no, i am not a god basher, i ask questions... you know if you believe in god (i don't even know if i do or not, i am really that confused) then surely he gave me the ability to question him, and if i didn't, well then i would be insulting him for giving me said intelligence and not using it, and when i think, i question, if you don't do that, well, you're blessed in a way i never was.

please people, read my other posts, am i bashing god or am i just questioning him? sure i might be tactless sometimes, a little course and yeah i lose the plot quite often, but when it comes to my issues with god, they are always based on something of substance, out of the bible, and they are usually in the form of a question, not god bashing, god questioning.

i don't know much about this type of thing, but from my cynical viewpoint it looks like the government are just trying to make it easier for themselves to send their boys off to fight by getting public opinion on board, it's also good for the government because the soldiers & sailors will have less to worry about and it'll keep them focussed on the job at hand and not constantly thinking about home.

surely it is good for the soldiers & sailors, but it would be nice if the real reason for the update was because it was good for the soldiers and sailors, in reality i think it's more likely it was done just so that it's easier to send them away.

Infant Circumcision

i figured that this topic must come up from time to time; especially moreso over here in north america.. as some of you are well aware, i posted a lovely thread about the upcoming birth about my nephew.. i'm thrilled about him, i simply just can't wait.. anyways, having been born here in north america, specifically: canada.

circumcision was common, if not all the rage in the 1950s, and 1960s and probably up until the 1970s.

with national health care, you can bet that the medical profession saw many dollars with regards to foreskins (sorry for graphic remarks).

not me! never ever ever would i want to be uncut, it's sooooo much nicer like this, and unlike most, i actually remember the agony of the surgery as i was about 7 years old when it was done.

i also think that since it's probably the oldest surgery known to man, the chances of it getting messed up would be slim.

Naming Your Child JESUS

having grown up in the borg, i cannot recall anyone naming their child jesus.

biblical names are commonly used by jw's but not jesus which is a very common name amoung latinos (hispanics).. does anyone know of a family in the borg that named their son jesus ?

Killer God & His Body Count

does anyone know the exact number of people recorded as being killed by god in the bible?

not those killed by old age or illness or the acts of genocide that aren't given a death toll figure (like the flood), i wondered what the body count was for those acts of genocie that do have a documented death toll, or kill figure (god sent an angel to kill 100,000 etc).. anyone any ideas?.
