Hi JanG: I will email you tomorow with some guidance. I am on another PC that has low RAM (only 32MB) and low speed (166MHz). My PC at the office is 128MB RAM and 500MHz. So this thing is slow and freezes easily. If I write more than a sentance or two it is gone, and I have to reboot. - Amazing

I enjoyed your point, "Like Hitler, Stalin, Mao and other mass-manipulators, the WTS has recognized that there are a certain number of people who are blind sheep, and for whatever reason, are too lazy to do their own thinking, to determine their own destinies and explain in their own way the meaning of their existence and the human condition."
And, when we finally do start to 'think for ourselves' we cannot help but quickly leave them, and discover how much better life is when we live it oursleves, and not for them. If I am to be held accoutable before God one day, then by George, I want to run my own cottin-picken life, make my own decisions, and do my own thinking.

Hey All: This is short and good I recently had a total crash on my PC. I built the thing myself, and it used to run like a race horse. But, unknown to me, my old anti-virus program was not updated due to my subscription running out, and my getting lazy about staying watchful.
So, I installed a new Security program. And WOW ... 71 viruses appeared. My new program tried to quaranteen one Virus, but it was a Trojan, and the quaranteen triggered some kind of weird sub-routine and the Trojan ate my Windows. I could not even install Windows again from CD.
So, I used my Anti-FUBAR disk that I developed, and forced it into DOS mode where I could get Windows back up. Then it took 2 days to clean out all the viruses. Also, Defraging was a chore and my system looked like a war zone. One Trojan caused self-duplication in my ISP system and used up about 300 MB before I was able to clean it out.
When I was done, my new Security program notified me that several Hackers were attempting to break into my system, and infect me with Trojans, etc. Just today, nearly 20 attempts have been made by potential Hackers. My new program works very well, BECAUSE ...
It Identifies who the Hackers are!!!!! Coooooool! I was surprised at this fascinating feature. So, from here on out, I will be posting the screen names of the hackers and then also writing to the ISPs ... but, in some states, it is illegal to Hack ... so, as soon as I get the scoop from my state of residence, then I will start some complaint activity through the authorities ... now, wouldn't it be funny if one of the Hackers is located in Wakill, NY? Well, wouldn't you know that this stupid dumb ass Hacker has a profile that I was able to obtain. It is, as always, just Simply Amazing

Yes, I am well aware that the WTS and its subsidaries are legal corporations. And I agree with you 100% that the WTS and its branches do not have Jehovah's backing. So, why then do Jehovah's Witnesses use a legal corporation that does not have Jehovah's backing. Afterall, as the WTS says, any organization besides their own can only be of the devil. So, if the WTS does not Jehovah's backing, it must have the devil's backing.
But if the WTS has the devil's backing, and the WTS invented the name and organizaiton of Jehovah's Witnesses, then how can JWs have Jehovah's backing? How can this so-called name people of Jehovah calim his backing when they use one of the devil's organizations?

Hi Outnfree: I suppose that I could write a book about a lot of this stuff. There is so much, and it is so diverse, that I am not sure where to begin. The pedophile issue seems as good as any for an opening salvo, followed by the Judicial Series, and then the Deceptive JW Elder Series. I never really confronted any issue regarding blood transfusions, so I would have to borrow some ideas, or have others contribute to a chapter on that. maybe I could call it the Life and Times of Jehovah's Witnesses - The Happy People - Not. - Amazing

I was not accusing God of anything. If you follow basic English, then you would understand that I was raising a logical question with respect to your hypothetical claims that the earth was more condusive to life in pre-glood times, so that is why people supposedly lived longer (according to your speculative belief). I did this to show how IF you were corrct in your fantasies about ancient times, then one of reasonable intelligence would have to question God's way of doing things. Questions do not make a person an evil pervert.
What makes people perverts is creating lies and fantasies in the name of God and failing to understand how they damn the name of a the good God they claim to worship. In Watchtower language the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses have made the name of God stink to the high heavens. The Jehovah that the Watch Tower created is a false God made in their own wicked image. He is not the same Jehovah who is spoken in the Bible as the God of love.

Francios: This is a new one on me! So the Borg is co-insuring? I knew that they gotten Group Insurance for Kingdom Halls ostensibly to get better premiums, but to co-insure with another carrier? WOW!
Do you know if these issues disclosed to the congregation in advance before they agreed to the insurance? Under agency law, if you act for or on behalf of someone, and then you are also selling them a product that you are also participating in the proceeds, you are supposed to disclose this to the consumer. For example, if a Realtor also owns a property when listing it for sale, then he/she is supposed to disclose this to avoid even the appearance of impropriety.
The exemption for labor costs should have been spelled out in the policy and made abuntantly clear so that the congregation could get better coverage elsewhere, or at least supplemental coverage. The named carrier should also have disclosed that the WTS was a co-insurer or underwriter! What a bunch of crooks the WTS leaders are! - Amazing

SAVING SEATS
by Amazing intaking a brief break from my 'deceptive jw elders' series, i thought about conventions and recalled the annual exhortation from the congregation service meetings and the kingdom ministry about not saving seats.. in the early 1970s, my wife was pregnant with our second child.
we were attending the disctrict convention at the oakland, california coliseum where the oakland raiders and oakland a's teams play.
the stadium hold about 70,000 give or take 5,000 with extra seats on the field.. during the summer in the bay area, sitting all day in the sun listening to speakers you can barely understand due to planes flying overhead, poor sound system, and crying babies, becomes a tortureous event.

Hi Free2bme: Yes, I recall when our District Conventions were 5 days long. And the Dramas were held in the evening. I remember one year we had our convention across the bay at the old 49er field in San Francisco ... Keisar Stadium, (the 49rs moved the Candelstick Park.) Anyway, the drama started about 7:30 PM and by 8:30 the fog was rolling in and we were sitting at the top back row. We froze our back off, and at least the 'saving seat' blankets came in handy.
When our Circuit Assembly Hall was built in Freemont, CA, then it was nice being indoor in air conditioning. Trouble is, I found I slept more. LOL There just ain't no satidfying me. So, I would get up, and stroll outside with the rest of the bored JWs, and watch the apostates standing at the gate wearing a placard with prophetic messages about the fall of the Watch Tower Society. This all happened circa 1980.
I was always tempted to talk with the 'apostate' carrying the sign, but I was too chicken to be viewed as toying with danger. - Amazing
