That was excellent.
Whenever I have gone on that H2o site I have always ended up confused.

Life sucks and then...What? You die. True enough, life is hard at times, many people want to get off.
I?m not sure what your really trying to say but it doesn?t sound good, all I can offer is the experience of someone who lost a 20 year old brother to depression. Even if your life seems of little importance to you, be assured it is worth something to those around you, including members of this board.
Added together that adds up to a whole heap of reasons to keep fighting. -

Who else is not going to the memorial for the first time this year?
by Pole inwell, it's going to be the first memorial i'll miss out on.
no big deal, but i guess it has to be considered one of the final stages of "apostasy" :-).
i remember i used to see some df-ed people at memorials.

Names given to children
by the_classicist inwhat i've noticed, is that there seems to be a lot of recent jw parents who make sure to name their kids by some hebrew/biblical name.
so now you have kids running around w/names like ezekiel, reuben, isaiah, etc.
there were also a few strange names that i'm sure some of these kids would've been made fun of because of it.. have any of you noticed this?

The British NHS........ What is your view?
by ScoobySnax inthe nhs is a hot issue at present with the forthcoming uk elections pending in may, both main parties are trying to monopolise the issue of our health service.
it is a unique service where faults of course can be found (as in the current news story) but having worked and given my best for the last 15 years in it, i feel proud of it.
what experience do you/have you had of the nhs?

I have nothing but good things to say about the NHS. I think however it all comes down to your experience, if you never have to use it, how can you make a judgement.
I was diagnosed with colitis about 2 years ago and have been treated for this condition in two different areas of the country. I have absolutely no complaints; I have to go to my hospital every six months to have a check?up and blood test, when I am there everyone is friendly and professional.
I do sense though the heavy workload of the staff and with all the stories of foreigners coming over and using its services (Not sure how true this is) worry for its future. Personally I would have no problem with it becoming more of an insurance based system and paying more if it would improve things more.

Aside from being buried alive, my main fears in life are loosing loved family and friends. I think, as you get older you become more able to cope with such fears though.
