"So why does Annie Lennox hate JWs? I'm all ears." I was at my mums yesterday and she came of the phone in a bit of a huff. She was talking to a sister who told her that Annie Lennox had opened her concert by telling all JW's in the audience to get up and leave. I could she the pain in her eyes because she is my Mums favourite singer and obviously was having troble reconciling how she hated the witnesses - so I felt a little sad for her. Not sure why she hates them though.

by Witness 007 inthe wright brothers had there first airplane flight on december 17 1903, and i find it amazing that today flying is so commonplace.
when the internet started afew decades ago no body thought it would take off....it was used by only the military, today everyone is hooked up.
what other inventions are amazing?

I'm On facebook...Using My real Name...and saying how I feel about the JW's!
by Latte inhi all just thought i'd share how far i've come in my recovery from the jw's indoctrination...... i have posted on 'facebook' and am having the courage to post exatly what i feel about the stuff i was taught throughout my childhood etc.. i am using my real name which is a big thing for me...and ya know what?
i don't care one bit who see's what i post!
it feels wonderful to be able to express how i feel!.

I know what you mean Latte. I am much more worried about my identity on here then I am on Facebook. But then again I don't allow JWs to be my friend on there.

by wobble ini know i am an old fart and a pedant,but things spelled incorrectly stand out, like copy of c.o.c in a kingdom hall library.. i don't think it matters too much say,posting on here,or in life generally,so many people make mistakes,but i do think it detracts from your credibility and your message in important stuff i.e a d.a letter for example,any excuse and dub's will ignore what you say.. so,is it not worth checking?
one word that many on here have a problem with is apostasy,often putting a c where the last s should be.. is having a problem with this word a true example of irony?.

My spelling has always been bad and always will be. I could spell the same word four different ways in one paragraph and not notice. I seem to have a problem with anything to do with sequences and order, but maybe its a double edged sword because I do seem to have the ability to think randomly and off the wall in a way that many other don't. So maybe the mind that excels at precision and rules struggles with creativity.

Baby it's cold outside

i wonder how long the snowing will last.

Sweet Poison? My experience quitting Nutrasweet
by cabasilas inmy doctor has been ragging on me to lose weight for quite awhile.
the last visit i was in he also railed against nutrasweet.
he gave me one of those mass mailing testimonies about nutrasweet which called it "sweet poison.
