  i used to install double-glazing, during this period i was an active witness and worked with a guy who had just come into the truth.

  now i don?t know if builders are the same the world over, but the first thing we would do when we got to site was demand a cupa and ask where we could plug in our beatbox.

  this would normally be met with a sigh and a resigned look from the householder.

  how often do you get your rubbish/refuse collected?

  where i live they have just changed it to ever 2 weeks!

  in between they just collect papper and recyclable stuff.

  Life on the outside

  being a jehovah?s witness caused me mental anguish.

  lack of love in the congregation, feelings of not doing enough or doing the wrong things.

  all this made me sad.

  in the proclaimers book it mentions that from 1944 no credits were given any longer to authors or composers of kingdom melodies.

  compare this though to examples in the bible.

  david is credited with many songs in the psalms.

  you feed it with a whole load of information and it tells you where you should live in the usa.

  I am rubbish at Christmas cards.

  i have just got one from the neighbour two doors down, last minute so to speak.

  what was the silliest thing taken away from you as a child because of its supposed evil influence?

  i remember when i was about 5 or 6 years old, my mum gave me a copy of the 1812 overture.

  i remember it as a real cool gift at the time.

  do you think jehovah?s witnesses act differently in parts of the country or world other then your own?

  witnesses claim that one congregation is just like another, sort of like mcdonalds.

  however in my experience this does not seem to be true.

  just registered today after many months of being a silent spectator, hope to tell you a bit about myself in the days/weeks to come, but not just yet.

  one step at a time as they say.

  i have been helped so much by what i have read here, at first i expected to find bitter and twisted rantings, not so, you all seem very normal.
