I knew of an older sister who claimed to be of the anointed. But I was always confused about that. She used to cuss and swear when she was doing her gardening work. Never made sense.

Anointed in JW's midst?
by Noumenon inin your time with jw's did you meet any of the 'anointed' ?.
i have met a number over the years, and they all seemed very normal, intelligent, balanced, loving people.
i've met a few obviously 'bogus' ones too.. my question is (atheists, agnostics, and god/bible basher please ignore and move on to another thread): what if there are genuinely anointed christians in jw's midst?

I am not one to speak for myself. But the comment made by others, appears that I was. And many commented of the fact that we had the 'perfect' family. Many called me daily for advise and help. And I was always there for them. They also asked me for help as to how to progress. And from early on, when I was just baptized, I moved rather quickly up the 'spiritual' ladder.
Now that I am df'd, all through out the circuit and district, people are shocked because of this news. They thought it would never happen to me.

Break through #2 !

This time, my youngest 17, called me last night. She was all alone at her house and no one to talk to. She told me she was grounded by her mom, and wanted to talk to me. She had lied about something. Since she was grounded for getting in trouble, she didn't mind now calling me, and breaking another WT rule. It was totally unexpected. I have my cell on 24 hrs, so that I am available for them just in case.
She was in her bedroom playing "Zelda" (lots of demons, witches and dungeons :P) This was a game we used to play until the wee hours, a long time ago. And she was thinking of me, and we chatted for the first time in about 9 months. And we made an appointment for next wednesday to go out and do something fun. This is after I haven't seen or been able to talk to my babies for months on end. I am just in 77th heaven !!

I am not being harrased, and have no intentions to ban anyone from this forum. I am merely making a statement, and it the shoe fits.......I am merely making a post to anyone that has sent me personal pm's with intentions to 'win me back over'. This is a free speech forum and if you have an opinion, you should be able to post it. My intentions were simple, and I didn't want to get this post to swing to the other side. Or go overboard with it. People vent here all the time and write their opinions. I had a need to do the same.
I am familiar with Brigadoon's post, and merely ignored the posts he made, due to the fact that they were accusatory. But by no means was I harrased by him. I understand he doesn't speak English well, since he is German. English is not my first language either, since I was born in the Netherlands. But we all have to think before we speak. And his responses were written in well formed English. So I don't know if that was a valid excuse.

I just hate these "father rapers" trying to quote me scriptures that have absolutely no application. You can apply them in reverse and apply them to the WT as well. Everytime I read one, I ask myself waht about applying this to what the WT is respoinsible for?

Break through !
by Puternut ini have been df'd for about a year and also been going through a nasty divorce.
my ex has the kids and they're all jw's.
so my ex has been pumping into my childrens heads, that since i am df'd, they are to have no contact with me.

Just a word of caution. My wife works in Family Law, and you would not believe the hi-jinks that the parent with custody rights, will go through to deny the parent with visitation rights, the alloted visits. JWs are worse, because they consider they are on a mission from God.
I'll ask her to post later, but be prepared. It is a victory, but there may be more battles to follow.
Please let me know as soon as possible, I want to prepare myself for everything that I need to anticipate. My children are at stake.

Questions like: "But you have been an elder and should know better". There is no point is trying to convince me that you have the 'truth' or are directed by god. I have been with the WT long enough to have seen it ALL. Yes my heart has been ripped out by your organization. But guess what? I picked it up and sewed it back into my chest, with the help of others. And I am still alive to talk about it, and it's ticking even better.
This entire experience has opened my eyes to see that the WT has many double standards, and that goes for ALL of you who decide to stay with that organization. I am df'd from that organization. But in addtition, I am df'ing all of you from my life, because you are "bad association"
