How has your marriage been affected by leaving the WTS?
by Leander init's been exactly 2 years since i stopped attending jw meetings and it's taken a toll on my marriage.
i expected as much but i guess you can never really prepare for the pain you have to go through when one mate no longer believes in the same things they once did.
i think my wife has honestly tried hard (as have i) to make the relationship work but i think we're both realizing that there are some really large issues before us that will never be resolved.

Fluff: What your topic to post ratio says about YOU
by Sirona ini spent vast amounts of time (10 minutes to be exact) assessing what exactly posting ratios say about a person.. .
work out your forum ratio this way: click on your profile and click on "post history".
this will bring up a list of pages showing all your posts.

Ratio: 31
You browse a lot and contribute to the forum where you can. You participate more in other people?s discussions than starting threads. The threads you start are on-topic and / or very relevant to your life. The thing is, you care about the other people here, not just yourself, so you spend more time talking with them than thinking up new topics. This shows that you are a lovely person at heart. Whilst you like the fun part of the forum, you don?t like forum contributors who cause trouble by posting baited topics. Down with the trolls!

A rear view mirror in a car, is a reminder of where you came from. If you only look at the rear view mirror, you will crash.

and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
That's about right. The borg was about enough 'experience' for me.

I don't have a clue as to what the 'here after' will bring. I am done with christianity. "IF" there is a god/ess, he/she will understand my predicament in life. And I hope there is a 'guidance' somewhere leading me on a path to my destiny. Whatever that is or will be remains to be seen.

This so typical. Their reasoning on the scriptures and trying to enforce a conscience on you, by making you feel guilty if you don't comply with their reasoning.
It is absurd and disturbing at the same time. It's once again typical of mind control and brainwashing.
I hate this type of reasoning. I am getting more and more upset the longer I think about this subject.

Now that you're out of the borg. What do you believe that YOUR future holds? And why do you think that?
Are you going to heaven / hell? Are you going to live 'forever' somewhere? Do you believe in reincarnation? Will you be unconscience in a grave somewhere?
Just wanted to see what ya all think about, when you contemplate about life....
