  1. if one is adequately informed of the consequences of a decision, and willfully choosing to make that decision is clearly irrational, then it is irrational to willfully choose to make it.

  Dang it Elsewhere... I read this earlier on NPR and was gonna post it 1st !

  O'well...as someone who actually has temporal lobe originated epilepsy (partial complex)...I can report that it can be quite interesting and a little unnerving when you don't understand what's happening to you. I never thought I was a god/prophet/witch doctor/shaman/spawn-of-godz-or-demons. Just that I might be going nutz !

  It used to be common to have vivid auditory & visual 'auras', just before or during my seizures. For instance, I would 'hear' certain 'weird' music or other sounds and I would always have a startling sense of Deja Vu. It would seem SO real, that I was in this exact scene, doing this exact thing -- before. The sun would stand still, that bee was frozen in time and space or that falling leaf...still falling after all that untold time that had passed... seemingly. Sometimes, I'd get a strong metallic taste and smell of something indescribable.

  I think this -- happening to folks in earlier times was even more scary, because they didn't have neurologists to explain the 'why' . And imagine this 'event' happening in front of other scared, superstitious people ? Maybe you should not burn at the stake or might not be a witch. I could tell you lots of reactions from today's 'understanding' & educated people.

  I can easily imagine a strong-willed, charismatic person back then...believing that something 'special or spiritual' must have just happened to him -- and it just HAD to be a God that caused it. Hell, I can easily imagine that now, too. They could be some of the strong religious leaders we see now and in the past.

  However...since I am in a 'spirit' induced mode right now AND have "a divine sacred/possessed by demons/or blessed with divine messages" disorder... send me all your money n' stuff, OK ?

  Hey, I'll tell you the future, whack your enemies, make you perfect and you'll never die either. 77 virgins...? Whatever your mind wishes, prays, imagines -- you can have.

  I should point out that the HLC is there to make sure JWs take blood. It seems few people realise this.

  Hmmm...My JW Mom died -- after the HLC showed up to do their 'loving duty'...(to make Jah smile)

  She was literally scared to death about taking blood -- by the GB's HLC.

  Human sacrifice makes their tribal god Jehovah -- Smile.
