I was never beaten as a child, never abused. Most of the women I dated told me horror stories. I'm from a NA tribe that never fought the US.
I think we Americans are scarred because of our warlike history. We have been at war every generation since the war of Independence. All unnecessary. They were wars to make some very rich men more rich and they continue. You can't scar a people with that brutality and expect normalicy. Mothers, your kids are being scarred...wives, you husbands are being scarred. Don't participate! These rich cowards can't kill other innocents if you won't participate.

I remember a friend telling me in the early 70's that Kissinger was a pedophile. She knew him personally. She also hated him. I just filed it away, although I was shocked. She did not percivorate on the subject, only mentioned it in passing. Years later I heard others say the same thing. Today I'm told he dosen't leave the country because some countries would actually arrest him.
My old friend said when "they" met for dinner, most of the inner circle, those without thier wives in attendence anyways would leave with hot young women, Kissinger always left with young boys. This was the Nixon clan. I never really "believed" nor repeated what she rambled on about at times...but many years later I began to hear the same allegations over and over by those who had no contact with her.
I think we should guard our kids carefully.

Moshe, I offer your Mother would have had a better life if she had been around people with a healthy attitude. Possibly better nutrition, I don't know where your penchant for drugs came from...but I offer that rarely, if ever are drugs necessary.
Consider...what if your mother had real issues she never shared with you? I reject your drug culture.

I suggest that most of us are forced to deal with Psycopaths daily. How many of us are immune to "our" governments? The WTBTS was dishonest, but like most liars they did get some things right. "Our" Governments are disgusting. One biblical observation that has proven true is man sucks at ruling other men...paraphrased of course, but you all know. Any honest members of a "Nato" country should be castrating themselves in hope none of our offspring should ever commit war crimes of this magnitude.
