I remember years ago when a program at the assembly said we were to destroy music which was bad for the youth to listen too. My Mom got rid of alot of my beatles albums.......... But!!! Now I have them all. Sorry for getting off the track about the cross. Forgive me?

I love the beatles!!! I could relate better to their music when I grew up instead of those boring Kingdom songs..

Good question! I always wanted to wear a cross and after I left the JW's, I still felt quilty. But now I don't believe in God anymore. What would be the purpose?

I need 8 hours for sure. I get up at 4:30 a.m. to get ready to drive the school bus. I have a really long route out in the middle of the boondocks!!! I also have to take a nap or I'll be dead for the afternoon route. Why do I do this???

DO YOU FIND.......................
by Dansk inthat you are reading a lot more since exiting the borg?.
i've had as many as five books on the go all at once - all of a spiritual nature.
i'm currently reading the wheel of life and death by philip kapleau.. claire takes a book to bed with her every night (something i can't do - i just can't read in bed).. some of you might like fiction or biographies, etc., but i love to read anything on buddhism (although one of my books is by a christian cleric).

I read much more after leaving the JW's. I used to feel guilty about not finishing my WT and Awake mags. I hated reading them. They were sooooo boring! Now I love to read novels. Mary Higgins Clark is one of my favorite authors and John Grisham. I can read for hours at night!

Unfortunately I did. I saw a brother talking to his df'd son in the coffee shop. I think the elders were after him anyway and made a big to do about it. Needless to say, he never talked to me again.

Now it's my DOG too!
by cruzanheart inalright, this is getting downright farcical, in a very tragic sort of way.
i started a thread the other day about my mother, who is in the last stages of alzheimer's and just started hospice care.
today i found out that our dear old dexter, a basset of almost 13 years, our first child, has a cancerous tumor.

Nina and family...I'm so sorry for everything you're going through. Pets are family too. We recently lost our beloved horse of 23 years from colic. I cried like a baby and even had to take time off from work I feel for you

I work in an office with a great view and lots and lots of windows!!! Who ever would think I would have flowers delivered to me sitting on a school bus with 25 elementary students waiting for the high schoolers to load? My oldest son has done that many times. Of course it was always after he did something he shouldn't have.....Ha Ha The kids on the bus really teased me about it!
