Well....it's that time of year again.
by Nocturne inthat's right, we're in district convention season, and of course that means it's been a year now since i left the dubs .
at the second funeral, it was for a relative of mine who also went to my old congregation but it was held at a funeral home.
alot of dubs from my old hall showed up, and of course the most embarassing moment was when this older sister in my congregation came up to me and started saying out loud: "oh my son, why did you leave, why did you leave?

The Watchtower guilt machine is indeed a powerful tool
by Nocturne ini haven't posted as much here as i've wanted these past few weeks, but i've spent most of my time lurking here, or in chat.
for the last few 2 months roughly, every meeting i attended became extremely painful to endure, such that i would come up with excuses to miss as many as possible.
but there are 2 events that really gave me a swift kick to wake me up and realize that things had to change.

Quick Introduction
by Nocturne ini've been lurking here for a few months now, and i've been wanting to post for awhile now but i've never really been up to it.
i first stumbled upon the information about the wtbts being an ngo for 10 years in september, and ever since i've been finding out about all the other things the society has been up to.
as of now, i'm still going to the meetings, but now my eyes have been truly opened, and i can see things in a whole new perspective, and it's amazing the deception that's going on in the organization.
