What is your outlook on life now?

just curious to see, how some of you who have been out recently, or out for a very long time, have gone on with your outlook on life.

do you still believe in the bible?

do you still cling to some of the 'old' teachings?

You find out "apostates" are really nice people You find out the org is one big lie Its interesting to look in and watch everyone work so hard to "maybe" be saved I think once you read,study and prove to yourself the JWS are wrong you will be fine

i couldn't believe this list of cannots that jws have to adhere to!

i already knew about the holidays, blood tranfusions, the pledge, etc.

there's maybe one or two that i would agree are for your own good, but the rest are ridiculous!!

I recently heard that the gospel of Mark is the oldest of the gospels written maybe 40 years after

the death of christ.All the other gospels copied Mark and added.Also Luke and Acts were written by the same person.

Shunned by Family

so here's a question, where does the bible say god wants you to completely disown a family member for chosing to leave the congregation?

is that the god we have been taught to know?

how can they go from door to door trying to save strangers, when infact they don't even talk to there own family?

Jesus said besides loving god

to love your neighbour as yourself is the greatest comandment

By shunning you how are they fufilling this comandment that Jesus gave?

I feel for you and your family and I will never shun you

Study gone bad

i had my bible study today, it was about demons,anyway the sister said that those shows on tv.

against jws are instigated by demons.. i told her about silent lambs and that it was true and had nothing to do with demons.

unless it was the molesting demon elders she was refering to.

A few hours later I got a call saying there would be no further bible studies

So needless to say my husband is not happy with me we even had our first fight.

So for saying what I think Im being punished.I really dont care about the bible study its being silenced that bothers me the most. I dont even know why I am so upset about it but I am.
