this is just a question i am wondering about , since my daughter age 10, has asked me to take her to church.
we have been out of the jw's for 2 yrs and she hated the meetings , we spent most of the time , outside in the car, in the bathroom or home the last years we were jw's.
she has alot of little friends who go to a little group on tuesdays to learn about jesus and do things likes arts and crafts.. well, the ladies at the first baptist church invited her to go to sunday school for her age group.
I have been to the mormon church (very nice people)
I have been to a catholic service,salavation army (also nice people)
Went to a born again church and had the best time I ever had in church
Contrary to what the witnesses teach all the above seemed to be worshiping god with more love than I ever saw displayed at a kingdom hall
it's a fact that many jehovah's witnesses know the truth about what's going on in the organisation and about its past history, with all its lies, its broken promises and its lying in bed with the united nations.
these jehovah's witnesses consider themselves good christians knowing these facts and yet they still go along with it and help promulgate lie after lie after lie after lie.
thousands upon thousands of sincere hearts have been broken and are still set to be broken because of their holding on to false hopes.. it's a fact that this forum is visited by jehovah's witnesses still loyal to watchtower and in spite of the countless truths exposing watchtower here these same jehovah's witnesses remain loyal to it.
Even if the average JW sees a few errors in the organization, probably they will say, "where else can we go"?
I have heard that statement countless times around here
It is because they have never been to another church and are so full of brainwashing they really believe there is no where else to go
Some people are afraid of loosing there families I think thats the main reason they go along with everything
does anyone out there now wear a cross or would you still feel guilty wearing one?
When i was young i lived in the (little Italy) section of vancouver
of course everyone was Italian and everyone wore crosses
my neighbour had cross earings and I really wanted to fit in so I bought some clip on ones
I have wore a cross off and on since then
and no i dont feel guilty bout it
i am back from underground ... i have more to tell you than you can imagine ...
i cannot use my old screen handle for now, but we are working on that, and it will be restored as soon as simon and i can get it done.
