  it is 17 years now since i got clean from drugs!

  i was big on uppers, hash and opium.

  i quit cold turkey 17 years ago with no slips since!.

  well, after lurking here for about 3 weeks, i finally registered and decided to "join the club.

  " reading your posts has really been a great help in continuing on the path i know to be right.

  a little history if you'll bear with me.... born and raised a jw....baptized at 13, df'ed at 16. i've been reinstated for two years.

  This it very sad to see.Being humans we all make mistakes and there are going to be misunderstandings between people.I though for one am glad that there is this forum and appreciate those who take their time to see that this continues to be a place we can come to and vent and meet others who feel similar.

  I know ben shepherd of sound garden.His mom and i worked together she was a mentor to me in some ways.It was though before he was in any band.He was just a young teen then.

  one thing jws do, and especially elders, is counsel people.

  everything is all about setting a person straight.

  even bible students are conditioned to be counseled and to do the same toward any that ask them questions as to what they believe.
